The Arizona Theater Company has been a repertory theater mainstay, based in Tucson, for as long as I can remember. I first began attending shows in the early 70's and have continued doing so since then. Always entertaining, always great acting, and often challenging. If you enjoy theater, give it a try.

The venue for the ATC is a lovely old theater where every seat is good. Usually the acting is superb and the sets are amazing. Whether one enjoys the evening depends on the show which is presented.

Tucsonans know about ATC and strongly support it. Oddly, although Phoenix is much larger, ATC does not sell as many season tickets in Phoenix as in Tucson. Too bad. We have had season tickets for many years because we appreciate ATC's quality and because we often learn something new about what is happening in the world of live theater. There... More

...performances and a beautiful venue for live theater. There is not a bad seat in the house. There is a nice cafe as part of the courtyard if people want to get a sandwich or a glass of wine. The plays are varied and bring a richness to the theater scene in Tucson.

I went to see "Around the World in 80 Days" put on by ATC. The theater itself is a beautifully maintained theater from the 1920's. All the seats are good and have great leg-room. The play was well done. It had only 5 players, and other than the actor playing Phileas Fogg, they all played 4-7 characters. The sets were... More

We attended our first, but not our last, play here: Mountaintop. The play was professionally produced and well acted. We liked the theater very much. It looks like all the seats in the theater are good...we won't spend the extra for "best available" next time.

I have been a season subscriber for years and always look forward to the plays each season. The Mountain Top this month was outstanding. I cried. I laughed. It was great entertainment, especially for the very reasonable price. The Arizona Theater Company is a Tucson treasure!

I have subscribed for more than 4 years and have never been disappointed. This theatre company is outstanding and the seating is more comfortable than most. Acoustics are good and the box office staff are very accommodating. A bright spot in this area!

Oscar Wilde's "The Importance of Being Earnest" is a classic English comedy. Written in the mid-nineteenth century it is a light hearted and witty tale of romance and farcical character identity. In this rendition the performances were, I would say, more of college theatrical stage rather than professional caliber with one of the actresses being closer to a high school... More

Always fun to dress up a bit and take my out of townies for some good tucson culture. I've never been disappointed, but it IS getting rather expensive.......
