Beautiful Cathedral in downtown

Well maintained Cathedral Church of the Catholic Diocese of Tucson. Were blessed to meet the Bishop after Mass. Stop in to say a prayer on your visit here.

What a beautiful stunning, picturesque cathedral. This is a Tucson original with some renovations going on. It is awe inspiring when entering and looking up and seeing the very tall ceiling and the stained glass especially above the loft, the major focal point. It makes you feel good to walk in and see this gorgeous structure. A must see when... More

Wish they would restore this building. It looks lovely in front and from a distance, but it's pretty much falling apart.

St Augustine Cathedral is a beautiful, old landmark Catholic church in downtown Tucson. The main cathedral has three alters, gorgeous stained glass windows and wood bench seating. The entire vestibule of the church is painted with a life-size mural of different figures prominent in the Catholic church (eg. Mother Teresa). And, it contains a couple of life-size statues. There is... More

Wow what a find. This place is a landmark example on a wonderful church, the murals in the interior and the stained glass make this place inspiring and worthy of a stop to see and pray a bit if you want. The Sunday schedule even has a service with mariachis on one time slot. too Cool. The beauty and art... More

I have been to Tucson a handful of times however never been able to attend mass until this weekend. The cathedral has a very beautiful interior decor, we especially loved the rendition of Our Lady of Guadalupe and the choir area mural of Jesus. We are member's of the Basilica in Minneapolis and love our church but this Cathedral is... More

This is a beautiful cathedral with a lot of history. I loved the outside and inside, there are a lot of beautiful architectural details. It is also very majestic during the Holidays!

Once a year the University of Arizona music department puts on a Christmas concert. Featured are many different choirs and orchestras from throughout the state . The cathedral is packed for this event. It used to be you could just walk in, but now you need reservations and it's easy to see why. It is a first class concert. I... More
