The Pima County Fair is a great place for the family. They had a rodeo, which was a great free and exciting experience until the announcer said during the bull riding "I wonder if we could put that rope around Obama's neck to get him out of office". I thought that was real tacky especially when there were tons of... More

No mention of the fact that this venue has a nice gun range, it's probably politically incorrect to post huh? Only $8 for a lane and they have plenty so you rarely wait. Rangers are friendly and experienced. Saw people shooting pistols, rifles, shotguns, slingshots and bow.

Came into Tucson from the SF Bay Area and wanted to experience a real "county fair". It was really fun and colorful. Nice exhibits, huge midway with an outrageous number of food stands. The livestock barns were really interesting. Great entertainment that was free, Easton Corbin. You usually have to pay extra for those shows.... Good value

Nice, small-ish county fair with food, vendors and rides. We went on $2 ride day and had a blast going on as many rides as we cared for about $20. The exhibit halls seemed a bit sparse (as well as the livestock exhibits), but there was plenty to see in the 8 hours we spent wandering around. I finally tried... More

Nice county fair, but could always use a little change maybe. Be careful of the lemonade though, my friend got very sick from it this year... :(

We love the fair. It makes us think of being kids again. Our two children (6 & 8) love it too. We try to remember to buy the discount rides tickets at fry's before we go as these are perfect for kids the age of ours. For the older riders, buy there. The shows and games are reasonable as well,... More

well it is Pima County, and in the middle of no where, with nothing special to offer, and the fair was not all that great.

We stayed for one month and enjoyed it immensely. Lots of activities on site and nearby. lots of room for pets, walking or running. Everything pretty laid back. All inclusive pricing. Non of the traditional rv park amenities but to us these are not important. The only real complaint we had was that there was no laundry facilities nearby but apparently... More

I grew up in a big county and our fairgrounds were awesome. The county fairgrounds here are much smaller and have less buildings for display purposes. The vegetation of the fairgrounds is lacking as well. There are few trees and no grass to speak of. But then again it is Arizona.
