Well, I didn't think I'd like this, but I had a fabulous time. They seat you at a table where you can eat and drink during the entire performance. They give you popcorn and there are some fried food options. And pizza. The music is corny, but everyone sings along anyway. The play itself was extremely well done, in writing,... More

This is not serious theater, people--it's a boo-the-villain, cheer-the-hero place, very laid back. The cast's ad libs are famous, and it's great for all the family (maybe over age 4). They deliver food during the show, and the pizza and milkshakes are great. There's free popcorn. The special effects are hysterically corny. Try to sit toward the front, and don't... More

this place was really fun for all the family. tongue in cheek spoofs of well known themes or movies. decent food and fun atmosphere. we saw 'the two amigos' a slapstick version of the 'three amigos' movie of a bunch of years ago. the gaslights take was much better than the movie. More

Gas Light theatre is a Tucson classic and a great time. Pizza is pretty good too. I usually just go for the themed show and then take off before the variety show as I find that cheesy. The real show it great though. More

I'm always delightfully surprised at every event. The plays are well presented and the audience is often involved. Worth the trip.T More

Small group of actors perform 2-act plays scripted as slapstick takeoffs of recent movies. The theater is styled after an old-time western saloon, complete with a honky-tonk piano player, guitarist and drummer. Audience is encouraged to interact with cast at times; lots of belly laughs. Food and drinks can be purchased and eaten at crowded tables. Another must-see while in... More

As snowbirds we make it a priority to catch the plays at the Gas Light two or three times a year. We just caught the current play, "The Three Musketeers" Laughed until our sides ached. Took some first timers. Always fun to see their reactions. It was almost as fun watching their reaction as seeing the play itself. They loved... More

I've been to several performances. All were delightfully silly and fun entertainment. The shows are all original and campy. I recommend Gas Light for fun, family entertainment. More
