Ok, I am a guy and I went with my Wife. I enjoyed it because as my Wife was saying how cute things were, I was thinking how the heck did someone make something so tiny? Not every piece of work is good, but there are some amazing pieces.

Yes the 'doll house' take precedence, but seeing how they evolved over time gives a glimpse of what life was like then, and that's interesting. Seeing the skill and cleverness people put into their creations was fun. I came away with seeing how much of our reality looks like fantasy - or is it the other way around? As I was... More

Did not realize so many were interested in miniature replications!! enjoy, perhaps a better part of the day, browsing, you just cannot take it all in...even for the second visit. I would say very well done, for each era chosen to reproduce,to the tiniest detail. Truly amazing place. Very clean. Fun souvenirs to buy, also. Don't miss it.When in the Tucson area buy the passport... More

The Mini Time Machine Museum is not quite like what one would expect fronm the name. No TARDIS's here, but many examples of fine crafstmanship and art. The 'Time Machine' part of the name relates to the many miniatures that were collected over time and represent many eras from the past to the present. The workmanship is exquisite. The details... This museum is amazing from beginning to end. There are so many, hundreds of miniature recreations of everything you can think of. I had to go back after I almost left so that I could see it again and discovered some displays i had missed. Its so much though that its hard to take all in, so just take your... More

Found this museum while traveling in Tucson at the end of last year and came back with our mother to share it with her. She was enthralled and enchanted. Seeing it for a second time, we noticed displays we missed the first time. There are so many great items there, it is a place one could visit several times and... More

The miniatures are fun to look at. They have a game to look for certain fairies which made it more fun for our six year old and her friend. However, they raced past many of the exhibits just looking for the fairies. Certain exhibits caught their eye (like Halloween, etc) but we probably should have waited another year or two... More

This was not a place I had really planned to visit but decided to give it a try. AMAZING! My daughter and I spend a few hours looking at all of the details in the numerous houses. Detailed information about the minatures was available by the displays. Make sure to leave plenty of time for this visit to really enjoy... More

This museum is definitely worth a visit; it is fascinating, educational, and unusual. The exhibits are well lighted and attractively organized, with several video presentations available in key locations to enhance your understanding and appreciation. There is something to interest people of all ages, from children to grandparents and in between; however, it takes a lot of concentrated looking to... More

I took my 8-year old niece and she spent over two hours looking at the doll houses, villages, and fantasy room. You can borrow step stools and a flashlight to better view inside the houses. There are some amazing older houses, and then Department 56 villages. It isn't a girlly-girl place, but more a minature museum.
