The miniatures are fun to look at. They have a game to look for certain fairies which made it more fun for our six year old and her friend. I took my 8-year old niece and she spent over two hours looking at the doll houses, villages, and fantasy room. You can borrow step stools and a flashlight to better view inside the houses. There are some amazing older houses, and then Department 56 villages. It isn't a girlly-girl place, but more a minature museum.
