I live in Tucson and have taken my Granddaughter to the museum. They have loads of interactive things for the kids to play with. They change things during the year, but mostly it stays the same. You can spend 2 hours there and see most of what they have. Parking is fairly good around the building.

Located downtown, make sure you arrive early because their is absolutely no parking. The musuem is very tiny, my 3 and 4 year old had more than seen the whole place within an hour. Their is some cool things for them to play on, like the police bike. The musuem itself is not educational at all. We did go on... More

We visited the Children's Museum of Tucson this weekend. I have to say that I was very impressed by everything in this museum. Our daughter is two years old and there was nothing that she wasn't able to enjoy at her age. Each room has something exciting for her and we could see her thinking about the cranks she was... More

Downtown Tucson is the place to be. Locals and visitors alike should make time to take all that is going on. With the recent grand opening of the streetcar, which runs from the University of Arizona through downtown, its easy and there is no excuse! The Children's Museum Tucson has been a great downtown attraction for years. And it's one... More

Hands on, i.e., kids can sit on a big motorcycle that has lights as fire truck and ambulance have plus sirens. Tubes that flow air to support ball in air, building blocks, electric light bulb that kids crank to light up, balls that float thru air tubes were enjoyed by our five year old granddaughter.

I was lucky enough to go here with my friend and her 2 little bundles of energy. There was plenty for the kids to do. There are many hot days in Tucson when a parent wants to keep the kids engaged indoors. I would recommend the Children's Museum for younger children. Not only is it good for growing minds, but... The name of this attraction sounds a bit uninviting for those with childrens, but this is a treasure for children. Yes, it is a museum, but a totally hands on museum for childrens. An absolute delight! A great place for grandparents looking for a place to entertain grandchildren without breaking the bank! A must go for children!

We only had an hour here which was not nearly enough! Super fun place where kids can just play, use their imaginations and learn. Our kids (ages 10, 7 & 3) could have stayed all day!

The Children's museum is great inside a true asset for our kids, however it is located in the ghetto, I took my daughter there on several occasions. While walking accross the street we had to dodge two bums staggering on the side walk, and another sleeping ata bus stop near by. I wish they would not have built it in... More
