This is a place we always take out-of-town visitors to...and it is always a delight. The gardens are beautiful, the tea room serves delicious breakfast and lunch in a wonderful setting (sit outside if it's not too hot!) and the gift shops have a unique selection of southwestern items. We always allow at least 3-4 hours so we can stroll... More

The park is beautiful, and tehy did a really good job. It has great views, lots of scenery and several times a year they host various cultural events. This place is a must see for anyone who visits Tucson.

Tohono Chul is a nice park with good displays, primarily of flora. We visited in March and the cactus and desert flower blooms were very pretty. Lunch at the restaurant is a must if you are going to this park. It overlooks a small garden and provides an excellent place to enjoy a meal.

We were at Tohono Chul Park for a wedding, and we were amazed by the natural beauty. This is a lovely place to stroll and sit and enjoy the peace.

I took my toddler aged son to Tohono Chul Park early one morning in July. What fun! The park is gorgeous and such a nice break from being in the "city." The best part was that they have a Children's Garden that is somewhat shaded and pointy-cacti free, so he could run around without me worrying he was going to... More

Learn about desert plants; walk through the Park. It's small but has a wonderful gift shop, plant shop, and restaurant with seating outdoors or indoors. Atmosphere is out of this world. Have never been disappointed.

Love the botanical park. Well defined, lots of paths and variety of plants to explore. The Tea House is quaint, and after a chilly walk through the park, a wonderful place for hot tea or chocolate. Have taken out of town guests to give them a better understanding of the desert in an easy afternoon. Watch for seasonal and holiday... More

When I visited my friend in mid-June, she mentioned that she and her husband had driven by this park almost every day, had always meant to stop, and never did. So, we went! It was much larger and more interesting than we expected, with lots of trails and exhibits, wonderful animal sculptures made from recycled metals, and docents/staff who really... More
