I highly recommend a visit to this wonderful gallery. From the moment my small party entered the gallery, we experienced a zen like calm. We all had the feeling we were in a spiritual center of sorts. As a child, I fell in love with De Grazia's art. I still feel that way "many" years later. To actually view some... More

If you're ever in Tucson, De Grazia Gallery in the Sun is a must see. Artist, Ted Grazia was born and raised in southern Arizona and this man not only created a spectacular art gallery, he also designed and built his home and a church which sits on the property. It's a warm and colorful place that oozes in south... More

I haven't been here in several years, but I would go all the time if I could. I love De Grazia. The studio is full of beautiful artwork! It's in a very cute southwest building, which makes it even better!

Not one of the well know spots to visit, more of an insiders location. Seasoned locals know and love this gallery and museum. Make sure you visit the guest artist in residence!

Being from Canada, we had never heard of Ted De Grazia, so was very surprised to see the amazing variety of artwork displayed in his gallery. I loved the video which told his story, and thoroughly enjoyed his paintings and stained glass pieces depicting native culture. The color and feeling in his art is amazing. We also enjoyed wandering around... More

Room after room of artwork byTed De Grazia, beautifully displayed in southwestern style gallery. All the movement, bright colors, dancing children I associate with De Grazia, plus thought-provoking collections depicting native cultures. A highlight for us was the room devoted to his Stations of the Cross (narrated by the artist himself), a special Lenten display. There is no charge to... More

I come here every year when I visit Tucson. The grounds are as artful as the works of the artist inside - and, man, he was prolific in just about every media. Don't let DeGrazia's commercial success detract from the serious Mexican-Catholic-Indian influence and inspiration of his art and life. This place lends well to repeat visits - everywhere you... Mr. DeGrazia, born in Morenzi, Az., of Italian immigrant parents, studied art at the university level. He and his wife lived and painted, and did sculpture and jewelry in Tucson until he decided that it was getting too built up. He bought acres off Sunrise and, together with native locals, built his studio and galleries plus a chapel. It is... More

Whether indoors or out, there are many areas to sketch to adobe architecture, desert landscape and art. Also be sure to check out the visiting artists who display work for sale in the little gallery on the same grounds.
