Wandering around the artist's home and grounds was a unique view into the life of a prolific artist. It was like his spirit was still lingering among the foothills. De Grazia was a prolific artist who loved Arizona and its native people. He lived simply and what he leaves behind is beautiful. A hi light.

I love visiting the De Grazia Gallery. You can just feel the creativity that has lived in this place. Mr. De Grazia definitely had a deep desire to create, not only art, but his home. I was especially impressed with his 'Way of the Cross' display. I am not an especially religious person and I understand the artist wasn't either,... More

We visited the Gallery in the Sun on Valentines Day. It was very relaxing to view and read about De Grazia's art career. Most of the buildings on the property were originally built by the artist specifically to display his art. No windows, just skylights.

We did not recognize DeGrazia's name and were just looking at things on the outskirts of Tucson to avoid the Gem Show crowds downtown. Once we saw the art, we remembered the popular figures of angelic little indians from fifty years ago. It was interesting to see his home and studio, which he had built himself at the foot of... The De Grazia Galleria is a hidden gem in Tucson. De Grazia was a very influential artist and personality and he deeply loved and appreciated the desert and peoples and cultures of the area. The gallery was hand built by De Grazia along with all of the other buildings on the property. It was his home. Do not limit yourself... More

Very small but a very spiritual place. Love the grounds and the many different types of cactus. Browsing around with no time constraints makes it a worthwhile stop.

We didn't know too much about DeGrazia's paintings but were directed here by a friend. Not only are there beautiful paintings by the famous artist, but the grounds are beautiful enough for some great photo shots. There are both indoor and outdoor exhibits. Take your time and take in the old home of one of Tucson's most famous artists.

DeGrazia was a local artist with his own style that has captured local scenes and people. The gallery is off the beaten path but if you are interested in art it is certainly worth a visit.
