Located in the heart of central Tucson, Dell Urich opened in 1996 after a complete redesign on the site of the former Randolph South Golf Course. Golfers at Dell Urich enjoy dramatic elevation changes and spectacular views from four sets of tees. The most popular of Tucson's five municipal courses and former host of the 2003 and 2004 Welch's/Fry's Championship, Dell Urich's par-70 layout includes plenty of birdie opportunities and a number of stunning par 3s, including the signature 17th hole.

I have played this course for the last 15 years and still find it interesting. It is a good test of your golf game and the holes all look different. This year the only thing that I am missing is the resident coyote who used to go through all the tunnels and would stand there laughing at my antics. Will... More

We played ten golf courses during the last three months. Dell Urich is a good public course and might have even ranked higher had it not been for the unbelievable wait on every tee box. Makes you wonder if they are trying to stack the course. The pace of play was 4 1/2 hours. Should play much faster. All par... More

Dell Urich Golf Course has improved since it has been under new management. Playing today I found the greens to be extremely firm and the GPS device on our cart worked less than half of the round. I will avoid Dell Urich until the GPS systems are corrected and the greens are given adequate water.

The course layout is very straight forward and shot making was not rewarded do to the the inconsistent green speeds...but that may be the fault of the heat! It was a scorcher. The staff was very nice and made our group feel very comfortable - large group. If you are looking for a fun course for all skill levels -... More

This course has great views and wonderful layout. Just enough challenge for the average golfer. I play it regularly.

Just what I said in the heading, this is a relatively easy course for a walking group of players, clean, and located near the center of the city. I would return for those reasons.

I like this track because of the mounding and contouring that they did several years back when they redesigned the course and abecause of all the big trees (a rarity in Tucson). Plenty of interesting holes, with no two being the same. Some of the par 4's are really long from the Blue Tees, even though the course if relatively... More
