It was over priced, the food options were expensive and limited but it was a good time. Our five year old loved the rides and the shows. I even found myself laughing a bit. Mostly I enjoyed watching my daughter have a great time. A recommendation would be to take your time to enjoy the beautiful drive through Gates Pass. more

I think that 17$ for that was too expensive. We went to the Sonora Desert Museum before and it was much better and cheeper. more

This was a great time for our family. Among the things we enjoyed were a comedy elixir show, a western gun fight, tours, train rides, antique cars on a track, carousel, etc. My only complaint is that it is pretty pricey. Our family dropped about $100 (including entrance fees) without even trying,... although almost all the activities we did were... more

This will be our third year of traveling to AZ. , we have enjoyed it so much each year. Each year we head to the Old Tucson Studios, and we look up Marty Freeze, he is the man that does the guided tours, this man knows everything!!! He is very informative about the movies that were made there, he can... more

Not the cheapest of attractions. I did find parts very interesting, mainly the historical aspects of the site and the little museum with film artefacts and the 'coral' from the 1957 "Gunfight at the OK coral" film. It was obvious to me that filming does not take place here anymore, It does not feel all that believable and check out... more

Old Tucson is way outside the city so it has the Feel of the wild west and can still be used as a movie / tv set. They charge you $17 per adult and $11 per kid to get in and walk around, the tours and shows are few times per day. It is big and has lots of buildings... more

We were looking for a day trip out of Phoenix and ran across information on Old Tucson Studios. We decided to give it a try. While I think the admission price was a little steep for the attractions, we had a lot of fun. The fake gun fight was pretty cool, but could have been longer. We did not catch... more

I visited Old Tucson Studios in 2000. I had a good time there exploring looking for historic buildings used in various films. The only dissapointment was that after the big fire they chose to rebuild it differently than it was. The melody ranch in California had burned and was rebuilt exactly as it was. I can't amagine doing a western... more

A big investment of imagination and leadership could return this Tucson icon into something really worth visiting. Its unfortunate that the experience seems designed to cater to the lowest common tourist denominator - and barely succeeds even there. Although movie sets are by definition contrived there is little here to make the visitor believe they are in a real western... more

An attraction that my husband remembers romantically from his childhood, but perhaps didn’t live up to his dreams. There is actually a lot of interesting history at this movie studio lot—many famous westerns have been filmed here. But unfortunately I don’t think the attraction is living up to its potential. A small museum at the front highlights this history, but... more
