We were cycling on the Loop and came upon Christopher Columbus Park just north of the Silverbell Golf Course off Silverbell and Sweetwater. The lake is a good place to go for a picnic, to watch the birds or to fish in the stocked lake. It's a peaceful location. If you are riding your bicycle be careful to avoid the... More

Lake views, a good place to go for a picnic, interesting lakeshore, lots of birds, mostly pleasant quiet on weekdays (weekends they fly some radio controlled model airplanes), a mostly quiet enjoyable place for family picnics.
