Monica's Chocolates are the most amazing, splendid, magical chocolates I've ever eaten. Yes, they are that good! Pricey but since they are all made in house with quality ingredients and no extra chemicals or other awful things, they are worth the price. The shop is an attraction in itself with various rooms containing an array of jewelery, alpaca sweaters, purses... More

Monica's Chocolates are incredibly tasty and rich. On the pricey side, but worth the indulgence. The shop also has a very nice selection of gift items, apparently mostly from Peru (Monica's home country). Clothing, alpaca items and jewelry feature heavily. I highly recommend the salt caramel chocolates.

Monica's Chocolates.....so I thought what's the big deal? What's going to set these chocolates apart from all the others out there. Well, go there and try these chocolates and then you will realize Monica is VERY special and her chocolates are AMAZING! When we were there she was personally giving out tastings of her chocolates and letting us sample anything... More

A must see/stop/shop! Located just before downtown Lubec. The alpaca sweaters from Puru were SO perfect...nevermind the chocolate! Great little gift shop!

Yes, it's expensive, but it is worth every cent. The best caramels ever!! Wonderful little shop with so much packed in - the jewelry, jams and textiles were all great. Lovely shop and I'm so glad we stopped in, even if I walked out $75 poorer ;)

Monic's Chocolates are really quite excellent, however, after looking at what we pay per 8 once box we discovered that the true cost of her chocolates are over $24.00 a pound. As much as we like her product, we will not purchase again.

You would not expect this place to be in Lubec. Glad we stopped in. Great candy choices, mustard, jams, and jewels. Every necklace is $28, earrings $15. Got me a very cute necklace and some chocolate for the road.

We stopped at Monica's as we were leaving Lubec and must admit it was the perfect capper for our wonderful stay there. I personally am a hot chocolate nut, and found Monica's rich, thick exotically spiced hot chocolate as good as any I have tried. Monica's hot chocolate is one of the 10 official hot chocolates on my list of... More

Stopped by on trip out to Campobello Island. Excellent selection of chocolates hand-made on premises, expensive but very good. Good selection of other gifts. Pleasant staff, ample parking.
