We have stopped at Monica's many times and has always left with a box or two of chocolates. Her products are excellent, however, when I added the costs together for 8 once boxes I discovered that we are paying more than$24.00 a pound. I think that is excessive!

Simply the best chocolates, handmade in small batches with recipes all Monica's own. She's a lovely, talented and resilient woman. Seaside Chocolates (once Monica's company) does not exist anymore, but Monica's is better than any other in town (i.e. Bayside). Make sure you check out the Alpaca Room at Monica's chocolates with authentic Peruvian wool items worth double or triple... More

It has been some time since we were in Lubec, but a recent visitor there sent us some Seaside Chocolates, which is a new business since we were there. These candies are truly superior to other chocolates we've tried, and we are confirmed chocoholics! They rival the best, even Godivas! We're looking forward to sampling their wares in person on... If you're going anywhere near Lubec, don't miss Seaside Chocolates. The building is on the right as you enter the town and it has a bright red roof.
