This is a nice little gift shop with some interesting things. I especially enjoyed their soaps and their jewelry. It is certainly worth a stop.

This is a great little store with so many unique items. All price ranges supports many local artists. Great place to buy gifts that are one of a kind. Debbie and her husband are such wonderful people and very knowledgeable of the many things to see. I visit here whenever I go back to Lubec.

Debbie runs the place and is a lot of fun to talk with as you peruse the small shop that has some very nice items to choose from, from jewelry to local books to pottery. It's a nice, classy and fun spot to visit.

Debbie is the shop owner! She is happy and pleasant! She buys and supports local artists and gift makers only! I baught this great soap wrapped in wool/alpaca yarn that is used with the soap as exfoliant and keeps low microbial count! I LOVE it!!!

We stopped in at the Northern Tides Gallery for a minute and stayed for an hour. What kept us there was the quality of the merchandise, the reasonable prices, the variety, and the local vibe. It meant a lot to know that the artisans were from Maine and carefully vetted as to quality and authentic manufacture. Equal to these great... More

I think this small shop with a super friendly owner rates a visit but I am unsure why a gift shop is rated under things to do. The gifts are Maine crafts from many local artists. In the past I have bought my wife earrings here made of carved quohog shell that are lavender and white and I have never... More

A lovely shop with a friendly person to run it, with art that doesn't scream artsy-fartsy. It's art that whispers to you of a place that's cold and where boats were once a way of life, and tiny birds make their homes. The crafters represented are clearly more Art than Craft, in the way that Art is a way to... More

Its impossible to visit Lubec without falling in love with the place. Northern Tides is a lovely little shop that captures the artistic character of the town with unique items, many of them handmade by local artists. They have exquisite beach glass and silver jewelry, hand knit woolen sweaters, fine art and gourmet regional foods. We spent well over an... More
