Bring your good walking shoes to this Mall. 5 stories of shops, even the husband will find something good. Mall is downtown so make sure you park in the Mall parking garage, the prices are much more reasonable than parking on the street, plus with the winter chill being semi-indoors makes to and from the car a bit less painful... Has a lot of store options from Nordstrom to Macy's to h&m to Zara to Michael Kors even a Tiffany's. This mall is huge and had plenty restaurants, Johnny Rockets, fire and ice, UNOs, the Cheesecake Factory, Panera bread. Even activities for post- shopping entertainment. There's a movie theater on the third floor with an IMAX theater. Across from that... More

Needed an indoor activity so headed to the mall to do a bit of shopping. I didn't have a huge expectation given that Providence is a small city, but this mall exceeded my expectation with a great variety of shops and food options.

In an age where malls and large shopping centers are falling victim to the rise of online shopping, the Providence Place Mall has weathered the storm. This mall is massive and has a wide array of shops, eateries and other entertainment within its walls. Centrally located right in the heart of Providence, the mall is easily accessed via foot, public... More

The mall is massive for rhode island standards. Lots of stores to shop at and places to eat and visit nearby. Centrally located in the heart of providence it is convenient and easy to get to. The downside? They screwed up the lanes when they made the parking garage and it's a nightmare to navigate if you are not used... More

So I was here in 2010. I was on a 5 week business trip and used to frequently visit the mall. I loved spending time here for 2 reasons. Firstly it was my first visit abroad and secondly the staffs here were very nice and friendly. I loved the food court and used to frequently visit it as well.

The biggest benefit of this mall is the conduit that it provides between the Marriott Renaissance area and the Omni Hotel area. We visited during cold snowy weather and the ability to walk indoors from our hotel to the movies, shopping and restaurants downtown was appreciated . The stores are the same ones that most malls would be anywhere in... More

I love this mall, not too big but has a variety of stores. Only downside is you have to pay for parking.

This is an upscale mall in the heart of Providence. It is multilevel, brightly lit, comfortable and non-threatening. The stores are the usual but the merchandise is more attractive than in other locations. Some of the smaller stores are interesting. Some decent eateries beside "mall food" are nearby. For tourists a hotel is just a land bridge away. Other reviewers... More
