Took the 2-hour ride. Just the right thrill. Trails are well managed but offer excitement. The stables is just outside the north entrance to Rocky Mtn. National Park. The ride takes you through woods and meadows . You get a spectacular view of the Mummy Mtn. Range and Deer Mountain. The wranglers were fun--just the right amount of chat. You... More

I am a pretty tough critic when it comes to customer service. My experience at National Gateway was absolutely fantastic. My wife and I were first time riders and we cannot wait to go again, after the soreness wears off of course. Chelsea was a fantastic guide who is knowledgable about Rocky Mountain National Park and the company she represents.... More

We rode here late in September of 2011 and were one of the last riders before they closed for the winter. Julie was our guide and we were lucky to be just the three of us. I took the 4 hour ride with my wife through the park and into the elk viewing area. It was a wonderfully sunny and... More

Despite the snow, the mind tingling cold, and the very real threat of hypothermia posed to our poor guide who was not accustomed or dressed for such cold weather we had an amazing four hour ride. My five year old still talks about learning how to be a cowgirl in Colorado, we loved the fact that thsi stable had such... More

I purchased a Groupon deal for a 2 hour ride and had the choice to go here or to the Cowpoke stables in Estes Park. Originally I had booked at Cowpoke, based on reviewers describing that ride as being more mountainous with better views, and it was on the side of town I was staying my first three days of... More

Another great trip to the National Park Gateway Stables. I have been going there since I was a young child. Our most recent trip was with one of my own children. The wranglers were all quite friendly and engaging. Quality staff and horses. We will be back again and again. The ride options into the park are really exceptional. More

My wife and i decided to spend the last day in RMNP viewing the mountains from horseback. This stables has very well cared for, and obedient horses. Caroline, our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Two hours is not long enough to really enjoy the beauty of the park. More

We rode with National Gateway this past weekend and couldn't have asked for a better way to start our Labor Day weekend! Kelsey was our guide and she did a fantastic job, especially with our 6 and 7 year old daughters. VERY kid friendly! We saw a coyote on the trail, along with some great views of the RMNP. We... More

Based on Trip Advisor reviews, we stopped in at this stable today. There is a two-hour ride for $50 that leaves every hour. We mulled around at the gift shop next door, as we got there in between starts. Everyone was very friendly and they matched us up with horses well. Our tour guide was Kara, she was great, informative... More
