If you are going to go horseback riding from anywhere in Estes (they are all nice), go here. Locally owned and very, very friendly handlers and staff. The cost for a 2 hour ride is $50 and is worth it. The views are amazing and you can view lots of wildlife while on the journey. The trip before ours saw... More

We opted for the 4 hour ride. There was only one other couple in our group. Another group set out at the same time and they had 5 people in their group. Our guide, Meg, was very knowledgable about the local flora and fauna. The stables were clean, the staff was friendly, the scenery is truly amazing!

This is a ride that I would highly recommend to anyone! My guide, Heather, gave great information about the area and history of it. This ride was a meadow ride and was absolutely beautiful! Highlight of my vacation!

These people were very friendly & accomodating. My wife took the ride, she said it was one of the best rides she's gone on in awhile ! Just an hour ride, well worth it !

We took the two hour ride in the morning through the Rockies. We are not regular riders so the slow pace was fine with us. Our guide, Meg was very friendly and helpful. Although if you are on one of the slower horses, you will have a difficult time hearing what your guide is saying. We did not see any... More

We took the Horshoe Park two-hour tour and had an excellent time. The tour guide was very informative and helpful to novice riders. The trail offered a perfect combination of amazing scenery, a variety of trail difficulties, and well-behaved horses. This was a highlight of our trip.

First off, these horses are very healthy and appear to be well taken care of. Check-in was quick and our small party of four rode with Carmen. We did the two hour trip. It was a marvelous way to see areas of the park inaccessible any other way, except for walking. Carmen was informative during the trip, giving information that... More

This was our second year riding with this stable, both last year and this year were both equally awesome. The views are beautiful and the guides (we had Jorden this year), were both so informative and friendly. My 11 year old daughter (this was her birthday, and what she chose to do on it) and her 8 year old brother... More

This was the highlight of our trip. I was in Estes with a group of friends for a wedding. The bride had recommended National Gateway Stables and it did not disappoint! We had a group of 5 for the 2 hour ride. We made reservations the day before. We did get lost getting there and were about 15 minutes late.... More
