I highly recommend this place for trail horseback riding. The kids had a great time. They offered helmets and I felt very safe with all the kids on their own horse for the first time. The staff was very friendly and helpful!

My husband and I had a blast. My husband had never been on a horse until this and loved it. It's all he can talk about. The sights were amazing, the staff was friendly, and our guide was great! We wish we had done longer than the 2 hour tour! Thanks for the great time Sombrero! These Georgians enjoyed themselves!

We did a 2 hour. Doc was an amazing guide....a serious cowboy. :) I felt confident because of his confidence but I was nervous, the weather was beautiful but there was a lot of ice. We moved around it, but didn't stop me from being a nervous nelly for a little. It was so fun anyway! Will be back

Megan was an awesome guide and well informed. She took great care with safety and security while also seeing the beauty of Estes Park. My husbands horse stumbled and he fell off the horse. She made sure he was ok and helped him return to the horse to complete the ride. I will definitely return to Sombrero Stables.

The people at Sombrero Stables care about their customers and it shows. We recently completed our second trail ride at their Estes Park, Colorado location, and it was terrific. Our group included a special needs child, and I can not imagine a more safe or caring environment to bring your family. I would recommend the folks at Sombrero Stables to... More

My wife and I took a 1 hour ride with a new guide who had started 3 days earlier. We really enjoyed the ride amongst the newly fallen snow. I had a draft horse "Wendy" who enjoyed taking her time and walking off the side of the trail instead of following closely. My wife's horse "Panda" stayed just behind us... More

We really enjoyed our horseback ride with Sombrero. When I messed up scheduling our ride online, Sombrero responded quickly and assured me that it was no problem to switch it to the correct day. Everyone was extremely friendly at the Ranch and we enjoyed the scenery and the ride a lot. Our horses did slip a little on the ice,... More
