Awesome dinner ride

Great place to ride horseback. Spend the extra few dollars and do the dinner ride; definitely worth the money. Everyone who worked there was so nice. A must see!

Average trail ride, typical "nose to tail" suited for all levels of riders. Views are OK but as experienced riders we would have loved a bit more action, we found it rather boring. Rather rude staff, hasty to put everyone as fast as possible on the horse,, but friendly guide.

My family and I really enjoyed our steak dinner ride. There was some light rain that day so everyone else in the group canceled or didn't show, so it was just the three of us and our wrangler on the ride. He was great, very personable and knowledgable. The horses were very well behaved and seemed to know the drill.... More

A beautiful but brutal horseback ride across the Continantal Divide. Start at 6:00am and ride 24 miles in 10 hours. Spectacular scenery but not for the faint of heart. The trail is very rough so prepare to work hard staying in the saddle. Cold up top, too, so dress warm. We went in August and it was 30 degrees and... More

My husband and I rode the horses here during a fall trip to RMNP. The trip is in the Roosevelt National forest. We have done this ride twice and enjoyed it both times. One time, in the summer, we went with our kids and did the steak dinner ride which was really fun. The dinner outside in the mountain air... More

The waiver that you sign dismisses the ranch from all responsibility. Even when an employee fails to saddle the horse correctly and the saddle falls off. I complained once early in the ride that the saddle was slipping the person leading our ride fixed the saddle and reassured me that the saddle would not fall off. Several minutes later the... More

Loved our horseback riding trail ride! Lots of fun! Our Wrangler was very helpful and checked on each of us often to make sure we were having fun and safe! Great place!

Had 3 small children and 2 adults in our group for the one hour ride. Signing waivers and getting started was a breeze. Nice trek up the mountain and horses were beautiful and well behaved without seeming beat down like some places. Everyone was very kind.

While in Estes Park we decided to try horseback riding for a change. Sombrero Ranch did not disappoint. The guides were friendly and knowledgable, the horses were wonderful and the trails were beautiful. It was a great experience and well worth the money spent. We would highly recommend them.
