Easy online reservation system. Horses were saddled and ready to go when we arrived. The views on the trail as we went up the mountain were gorgeous. There was quite a bit of snow on the ground and we hit a few slippery spots, but the horses were steady and sure. Fun, sweet guide who chatted about various horses and... More

Ruger was very sure footed on the icy, snowy, muddy path. It was quite impressive. Zoey was a great wrangler, making all the riders feel safe and like they were doing well. The trail had a variety of views considering we only signed up for the 2-hour ride. The day we were signed up to ride originally had 35 MPH winds... More

Great price excellent riding trail. Was very impressed with Zoey, she paid great attention to what was going behind her. We had a 5year old first time rider and Zoey made us very comfortable. Thank you for a great experience

Loved the horse ride. Might want to give heads up the trail is very steep and narrow. Horses were well behaved and sweet. Guide was experienced and knowledgeable.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my visits to Sombrero Ranch. Both times the staff has been warm and welcoming, the horses are well kept and are very kind and gentle animals. The trails are well maintained and offer beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains. I would absolutely recommend Sombrero Ranch to anyone looking for a very positive horseback ridng experience.

We really enjoyed Sombrero Ranch. Ranch is surprisingly located just a few minutes from downtown Estes Park, right near the lake. There was ample parking, but as the place was crowded, we did have to park across the street; only about a one minute walk to the stable, though, so no problem. We had made reservations several month's in advance.... More

We went on the 1 hour trail ride with our two kids and we all had a great time. The horses were very gentle and the scenery was beautiful.

We did the one hour ride from Estes Park Stables with a six year old and a nine year old. Both were given very calm horses that took good care of them during the ride. The terrain was just rugged enough that they felt we had had an adventure, and we got some lovely views. I'm sure there are other... More
