We did the steak dinner ride and Papa and Brooke were our wranglers. Both young ladies were excellent and we really enjoyed our ride. My three kids are completely inexperienced and my husband and I haven't been on horseback in about 20 years. This was a great experience for all of us. Dinner was pretty good although three of our... I have ridden horses in many parts of the country. Riding in the Rockies is like nothing else. Having been advised by trip advisor reviews that morning weather is more reliable in July, my wife and I did the breakfast ride. Our guide, Amanda was great. She was informative and attentive. A perfect person for the job. Talk about a... More

We went on the breakfast ride and loved it! The staff was very effective and efficient at getting everyone off on the ride early in the morning. The views were stunning and more than we expected. The breakfast was delicious. We stayed in Boulder but the early morning wake up and drive out was worth it. Our guide was knowledgable... More

Great, especially since our kids had never ridden before. Great views and information! Horses knew what they were supposed to do and where to go without much direction. Everyone was very friendly.

Our "birthday princess adventure ride" was huge success. The two guides were very attentive and reassuring, particularly to the 4 young girls (ages 5,6,7,10). All 9 of us seem well matched to our horses, though I assume this was coincidence or that just all the horses are well behaved. Make a reservation! Despite an enormous number of horses, a walk-in... If you are thinking about horseback riding while visiting Estes Park, Sombrero is the place to do it through. We had a group of 4 that did the 4 hour breakfast ride. We weren't sure what to expect and hadn't gone horseback riding in a while, but were pleasantly surprised when it worked out to have only our group on... More

My 16 year old daughter and I did the steak dinner ride. When we arrived we met with the stable manager "Kansas" who was just a joy to talk to. He explained our ride to us and what to expect. We got to speak with him for about 15 minutes before our ride and I am sure he had better... More

What a ride! My boyfriend and I haven't ridden horses in YEARS and this was fantastic! We rode Peter Pan and Luther and we couldn't have asked for better horses! Our guide Naomi was awesome! She was very sweet and super informative along the ride. She was very helpful telling us how to handle the hills and more difficult parts... More

Great place to get your "horsie fix: and have a fun ride. They are able to supply mounts for the larger rider (remember even drafts have their limits, so don't lie about your weight). Saw wildlife (Bobcat & rabbit), smelled the sweet scent of pine trees, listened to the trees, and knocked one thing off my bucket list. Don't expect... More

A great place to take the family on an adventure up in the Rocky Mountains! You can take an one,two or three hour ride! The horse wranglers were very informative and friendly!
