This was a great stop on our trip! We did the one hour tour and we happened to be the only people on the tour so we basically got a private tour. Adam was our guide and was fantastic and was a good balance of knowledge and letting us just enjoy the scenery. Everyone was so kind and wonderful -... More

We horseback ride pretty much every vacation we've been to. These horses were great and the views on the trail were beautiful! Helmets are optional but there are a lot of rocks aside the trail so I'd recommend one (they're free), even for advanced riders. Our guide was funny and had a story about every horse so it wasn't boring.... More

I took a short, 3-hour ride at Sombrero, and it was great. If you go before June, definitely dress warmly! The wind that blows up the mountain can be very cold. The ranch hands were incredibly helpful and the horses were very calm and well-trained.

I took my 9 year old daughter on her first ride. The trail was beautiful, the wrangler was beyond wonderful - all the employees were great! The horses were wonderful, an all around great experience! I highly recommend them!

The ride director was excellent with the horses. However the path was narrow, rocky, and icy. Actually felt bad for the animals. Views were awesome.

We only had time for the hour ride but it was excellent. Our guide Jacqueline was super, and when she told us at the end of the ride it was only her fourth day I was surprised. She was conscientious about safety, friendly, and was knowledgable about the area we rode through. I would definitely make time for a longer... More

We did the 2 hour trail ride and it was absolutely beautiful! The horses were very well behaved and equipment in great order and the guides were just magnificent in sharing their love of the mountains. I recommend for anyone!

What better way to celebrate the Rocky Mountain National Park's 100 Year Anniversary than taking a horseback ride with the Sombrero Ranch. We took the two hour ride. The horses were well trained, sure footed and behaved perfectly. The wrangler was informative and took good care of us. The vistas were amazing! Everywhere I go, I try to take in... More

We had a good ride, our wrangler and horses were great! The views were fantastic and it was a good way to take it relatively easy and get outside. No complaints!

This is a well run professional outfit. We felt we were in good hands. Rode with 5 others of all ages and our guide was attentive to everyone. She did an awesome job! The horses were well cared for and friendly too.
