Once again we booked an all day fly fishing trip through Kirk's. We were initially greeted in a very professional manner and the day just continued to be handled that way. Our guide Jerry Lehtinen was superb. He was a teacher, a coach and a wealth of knowledge. I have been fly fishing for more than 20 years and still... More

Dave helped me pick out 3 types of dry flies for the rivers in RMNP. He gave me some great advice on what to fish with and where to go! I caught so many fish...I'm going back next week! These guys really like to fish, enjoy talking about it, and are willing to share some nice holes where you can... More

My son and I had a great morning fly fishing July 21st with guide Duane S. from Kirk's Flyshop in Estes Park. Duane did a great job of teaching us the basics of fly fishing since neither my son nor I had ever done it before. Duane was a great teacher! We both caught fish and had an outstanding time!

My Dad and I fished up around Estes for 3 days with these guys. Three different guides. Thanks Mohawk, Kirk, and Ryan! We are lifetime fishermen, but are new to fly fishing. Caught some big ones. Bottom line: You will catch fish, even if you're a beginner. We learned something different from each guide. I went back up to the... More

My husband wanted to go fly fishing on our trip to RMNP and I was not thrilled about the adventure. However, it was his 50th Birthday so comply I did. Have to say, it was one of the highlights of our trip. We could not have been more pleased with the service and advice we received at Kirks. Our Guide... More

Me and my wife had an amazing time with our guide Duane fly fishing this August. We hiked up to Alberta Falls and fished below and above the falls. IT was so much fun! We did the 6 hour trip and it was just the right amount of time for us to both catch plenty of fish. We both cannot... More

Spent 1/2 day in Rocky Mountain State Park fishing the streams with my dad, my wife and Luke our guide. Although the fish were not cooperating, caught a few Brook Trout, Luke was very attentive to my dad. This trip was on my dad's bucket list and Luke made it an unforgettable adventure.

I booked a one person guided fly fishing excursion after researching online and ended up with Kirks Flyshop because it had the best price for this type of trip. I arrived a little bit early where they greeted me very cordially and got setup pretty fast with the equipment and did not have to wait that much for trip to... More

Marlene took us to a less traveled hiking trail to Sand Beach Lake. About 2 miles into the hike I said "Oh, my." Marlene said "Oh no, this is not good. Go, Go up the hill! Our peaceful hike had just turned into survival mode for us. We had just come face to face with 2 bull moose on the... More
