Get the urge to feed animals out of your system before going to RMNP. Take some sunflower seeds or peanuts with you and ride the tram to feed the animals. Nice views too!

We took our young children ages 5-9 up to the top of this moutain with the tram. We loved feeding the chipmunks. It was a great natural adventure for families. It is alot of fun to watch kid expression as they ride the tram up the moutain. It was a great time!!

Apparently a car took a dive off the tram, so it was closed this year. Hope the chipmunks at the top didn't starve!

My granddaughter always looks forward to riding the tram at Estes. Not so much for the tram ride, but to feed the animals at the top. The views are great and the kids love feeding nuts to the chipmunks.

Once you get to the top there is a great view of the Divide and surrounding valley, but the after that nothing. The Coffee/Gift Shop stinks. Also there is not real place to walk around.

Bring a bag of peanuts for this trip. I think this is were the chipmonk started! SO MANY!

Nice ride and view but nothing at the top worth spending the money on. Can see just as much from your car.
