Definitely worth the time/money as long as the weather is clear. (I'd suggest going in the morning as there's often chances of rain in the afternoons). The views are amazing and the ride isn't too long to the top.

We knew going in that it was a tourist trap, but my youngest daughter insisted. Big mistake. It was a complete waste of money. The view from the tram itself was nothing special and the wait in line was almost like you were at Disney World. Forty-five minutes for that wasn't worth it. Spent the time driving up to the... Efficiently run tramway. Nice views from the top, reasonable cost. Kids enjoyed feeding the ground squirrels and chipmunks. 33 years since my last visit, and I remembered enjoying it then.

The tram ride up was steep and scary but worth it! Spectacular views and you can feed chipmunks! They have a coffee and sandwich shop on top as well as a gift shop. Would recommend it!

We had to wait nearly 20 minutes to get on the tram at both the top and bottom, but other than that no complaints. My four year old loved feeding the chipmunks at the top and we got to sit at a table and enjoy a late lunch with a gorgeous view. The ride up has great views of the... More

So I hiked so far and so much in the Rockies yesterday that I had to take it easy today. I rode the tramway. I got there around 9 am and the line wasn't long at all. There were lots of families there with little kids, which was fun to watch. The kids were excited. On the way up in... More

This was an amazing experience. You travel in a tram with others and go to nearly the top of the mountain. From there you can get something to eat/drink, take as many pictures as you want, stay as long as you want then go back down.

There were approximately 11 people on the tram with me as we went up to the top. This would not be a good attraction for someone afraid of heights or tight quarters. The views are incredible of you're willing to look. There is a gift shop, restaurant, and hiking at the top of the tram as well as great opportunities... More

They still use the original cars, if that's what they are called, from 1955. But they do upgrade all the Tramway cables every year we were told. You get some great views on the way up as well as up the top. You can hike another half mile further up but to be honest the views will be the same... More

Amazing views on the ride up and down the mountain. We had a picnic and wandered around on top of the mountain for a few hours, the view really is incredible. We also saw lots of chipmunks!
