While gazing at the mountains from our hotel, we saw something red on the mountain and then realized it was moving so we realized it was a ride. There are no brochures or any signs for it so finding it was difficult. While having a beer on the patio at the nearby brewery we could see where we thought you... More

Visited as soon as it opened at 9:00 a.m. so there were no crowds. Grandsons loved feeding the chipmunks at the top.

This is a nice way to spend a relaxing hour or two away from the crowds of Estes Park & RMNP. When you get to the visitor's center at the top of the tramway, I recommend buying some peanuts for the chipmunks & birds. It is only $0.50/scoop & well worth it for the entertainment value of watching the animals... More

For only $12, this is a great outing. I wish I had brought my hiking shoes because there are great trails at the top. My husband and I sat for a while drinking tea and looking out over Estes Park. It was beautiful

We loved this stop of our trip! It was a great relaxing ride up on the tram, though short I must say! It goes much faster than I thought. Once at the top, you can purchase gifts from the store (comparable prices to the town shops), have a snack or enjoy a cup of coffee and peanuts. We chose to... More

During our five day stay in Estes Park, we took an afternoon off hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park to ride the Aerial Tramway. The Tramway is located in the middle of Estes Park town center. There was ample parking and the wait was moderate, around 30 minutes. There were two tramway cars going up and down the mountain. Each... More

We loved the tram ride. The tram was on our list of activities to experience, so on Sunday about 1pm we decided to stop since there didn't seem to be a line. The staff was very friendly from the purchase of our tickets to the gentlemen that took us up and back. There is an area at the top of... More

Riding the tram is a must attraction - not only is it very reasonably priced but it provides a great opportunity to offer a family - young and old alike - a perfect opportunity for magnificent views. The staff is great and happily answers questions during the ride - a staff member accompanies the tram full of customers on every... More

Love the tram, always have, always will. The kiddos love feeding the chipmunks and the staff is always nice and knowledgeable of the area. It may not be the most up to date attraction, but to me that's part of the appeal.

This was defiantly at the top of the list during our vacation activities. Very memorable. You have to experience the tram. The kids and adults as well really enjoyed feeding the chipmunks. A must do when in Estes.
