Did this with the grand kids. They loved feeding the chipmunks and riding the tram up he mountain. Will be a memory

We went here with low expectations, and came away very pleased. It was 4th of July weekend, so we knew enough to arrive early (they open at 9AM). As a result, we got up the mountain ahead of the crowds, enjoyed the view without fighting a crowd, and came away feeling as though it was a worthwhile experience. Senior price... More

The tram is small but the trip is short and it felt safe. We enjoyed the cafe and small gift shop at the top. The cafe had killer desserts. The kids really enjoyed feeding the chipmunks peanuts. Some people leaving gave us half a bag of peanuts to feed them. The views of town were great. We went in the... More

The view is OK. But the prices are ridiculous. Once you get up top, get ready to see peanut shells all over the place, as people feed the chipmunks up at the top - the main attraction. If you are going for the view, save your money. It you are looking for a centralized location for 100's of chipmunks, then... More

Took a group of excited teenagers to ride the tram and got met with a snarly attitude from the young lady taking up the tickets. I am sure people have bad days but this was my second time in a year to ride the tram and both times I was met with a snarly attitude. If you don't want to... More

This was a totally unexpected experience, one that we will be sure to take visitors to when staying at Estes Park. Beautiful views and a fun ride up the side of the mountain.

This has been a routine stop since our kids were little. Go feed the chipmunks. Went late in the day so the chipmunks were not as eager to eat. They may have been full. Still managed to coax a few out to eat the peanuts out of our hands. If busy it takes awhile to get on a tram but... More

This is a fun experience for all ages. Make sure to buy peanuts (which you can buy at the gift shop at the top for 50 cents a bag) to feed the chipmunks. Many great photo opportunities, places to picnic and hike. Riding the tram is an experience in and of its self too!

The aerial tramway is easily accessible. It is very close to downtown Estes. I believe it was $12.50 a person. Thought it was worth the experience. You go up the mountain standing up and can get a great view of the area. Once up on top there are some great views and even a few trails. If it rains, and... More
