Our whole family looks forward to going to top of this mountain by tram and purchasing peanuts to feed chipmunks. The views are truly breath taking and you can see all of Estes Park from here.

This is a great ride up and lot's to see at the top. Was chilly though and as we arrived back down to the bottom it started hailing. But you should definitely do this.

I went in the tramway for the first time this past summer, and it was worth it. I didn't like the tram ride itself, but the views at the top were incredible!

We rode the tram to the top in June. We went mid-day and the line was not long at all. Once at the top, we hiked several of the trails and stopped at the snack shop. The kids enjoyed ice cream and the adults a soda. You can buy peanuts to feed to the chipmunks. It is a great way... More

I thoroughly enjoyed the ride up the mountain and the views of Estes Park and the Rocky Mountains! It was quite breath-taking. It is a family friendly atmosphere there. Will go again when I return, hopefully next summer.

Great activity for kids and families. Take the tram up to the top of the mountain where they have a shop with food and souvenirs. The kids can feed the squirrels while you can take in the great views and hike around for a bit.

Charming gift shop starts the journey. The ride up is just scary enough to make it interesting. The view of course is outstanding. when you get to the top there is also a visitor center! The highlight is the walking paths full of little chipmunks that adore peanuts, such fun, great pictures! The views at the top are wondrous, really... More

Great overview of the town and a 360 degree view of the mountains from on top. Friendly birds and chipmunks looking for handouts (although that's not recommended, of course.) Fun for family.

Loved the tram ride to the top of Lookout Mtn and the views from the top. Trails at top not in great condition or well marked (they kind of go everywhere!). Could have used more history from tram operator - I read it online and it was fascinating!
