Rock heads rejoice

This is a really great shop. Selection is really extensive. There are small stones as well as monster sized stones. Great way to kill some time shipping. Worth the visit.

Visited with the family recently, was very cool. We spent well over an hour looking around, and it's not a very big place. Lots of interesting and neat things to see. Our kids loved it, as did my wife and I. We purchased a few small items, but would have bought more had we driven to Colorado. Definitely worth a... More

I always find the best rock shops when I am traveling, and this one is by far the best in Estes Park. Not touristy and the staff are obviously into rocks. They have a great selection and are very helpful. The kids really liked the dog Nala that hangs out in the store too! Prices are fair and I look... More

Stopped for a look see and stayed a while. They have some great minerals and artful rocks. I like the ability to make your own book ends with their rocks.

It was probably a good thing that we flew into Colorado, because there were bins full of large, beautiful rocks that would have looked great in my yard. I had to opt for the smaller, packable specimens, though. There is a little coffee shop next door, so if you have a downer spouse that isn't a rock hound, you can... More

the shop was great, they had many "rocks" and cool things in the shop. The shop is the museum which confused us but other than that the place is nice to visit for gifts and memorabilia.

Nice shop! We really enjoyed looking around. We bought a couple rocks, and husband bought an antique miners light, which was very fitting as we had just visited a mine the previous day. The back of the store has a deck overlooking a river. We saw a trout hovering above a rock. It was just a really neat place.

Whether you are viewing or buying, this place has lots to offer. The museum displays within the shop add to the experience. Rocks are local and "imported" but most are marked with name and origin. Spend a few dollars or hundreds! If it's rocks you seek, you will find them here!

An interesting and varied assortment of rocks -- it passes as a small museum. Prices are expensive -- several dollars per pound. After paying these prices, you will really treasure whatever you buy.
