Pretty busy, but the horses were very tame for my children. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

We did the 1 hour Meadow ride. Ride was easy; nothing too thrilling, but great for first time riders. Staff was made up of young men and women but very professional. Great value at 40 dollars a rider couldn't find a better rate in the area. However a little disorganized at first but great once it got going.

I booked a hay ride for our family of 4 for our 1st night in Estes. It was a perfect activity. We were impressed with the YMCA property where the stable is located. The belgian draught horses that pull the wagons are amazing! The ranglers are all super nice and appear to enjoy working at the stables, love those horses,... More

Best place to go horseback riding in Estes so far. You honestly can't beat their prices and the staff are so personable and fun, we had just an overall amazing time. We did the Glacier Basin trail. My horse's name was Tonto and we got along perfectly; absolutely loved him. I felt completely safe the whole time and you can't... More

Jackson Stables offers a whole range of horseback riding options, from the novice to the experienced. The staff are all friendly and helpful, and the whole operation seems very well organized. Our 2 14-year-olds took a 1-hour horseback ride, and then the entire family went on the "Hayride and Cowboy Cookout". A wagon pulled by draft horses takes you to... More

All the folks were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Horses were good and not just head down, following the horse in front down the trail. The views were great and the rides were enjoyable.

The staff and horses are friendly, knowledgeable, and dependable. The walks are beautiful, and service is incredible. Unfortunately the stables are closed in Winter, but at any other time of year there will be openings.

Took our 4-year-old twins to a reasonably priced, 20 min pony ride; A parent leads the pony through a wooded loop trail. The kids loved it.
