Drive is 80min each way from EP to Cache La Poudre river put-in. Water is low in August which was just fine for us first timers. Spend about 1.5 hrs on river. Raft same stretch twice with the bus shuttle in middle. Great and entertaining guides!

We had originally booked a 1/2 day trip on the Poudre River, but was contacted by the rafting company a few days before to notify us that the government had shut down the reservoir that feeds the river making it too low to raft. We were offered a choice of either a refund or to book the full day trip... More

This was our first ever trip white water rafting, and we used Tripadvisor ratings to help us make a decision. We are glad we did. Our group of eight "newbies" took a full day trip down the Colorado River on Aug 13, and it was an experience we will never forget. On our drive down to the river, our driver... More

We chose the tamer full day trip on the Colorado River and really liked the float/rafting and the gorgeous drive across Trail Ridge Road. We chose this trip so we could both enjoy seeing the vistas and wildlife of Trail Ridge Road with an experienced driver/guide and also be able to take photos of the canyon from this calmer water... My husband and I did the half-day trip on the Cache de Poudre and had a great experience from start to finish. We signed up in person at the office in Estes Park where we were assisted by three very pleasant ladies who took our reservation and answered all of our questions. Although we hadn't made advanced reservations, we were... More

What a thorough description of our trip. Jack and Becky have been with us awhile and often get good mentions from customers. Thanks for mentioning the office staff - they are the "off the river" team that makes it all happen. Many thanks to LINDA, MISSY, JESS, MADELINE AND ELLEN for making our lives so much easier this summer. We... More

We did the early trip, which required us to be at the Estes Park High School parking lot at 6:30 AM, but which left us with the entire afternoon free to do more things. We were lucky - the water level had risen enough to allow us to do both level 2-3 runs on the Cache La Podre. Typically, in... More

We are glad you had fun. Yes the water varies by day on that river later in August. It's your government at work - the only thing less predictable than the weather lol. Sam is wonderful - we think he has the most tripadvisor mentions this summer. Thank you Sam! We look forward to getting you in a boat again... More

We took the 1/2 day trip on August 5th. Long bus ride to the river was shortened by Gordon, our driver and adhoc comedian. Beautiful views coming and going and on the river. Our guide, Nick was awesome and made the best of a low flow day. Still some very exciting spots to navigate. Late in the year these levels... More

Thank you for your comments about our honesty. If we're so busy we are turning people away, it only makes sense to be honest when describing the trip. That's part of why we prefer booking in person or over the phone to online booking. That way we know that you know exactly what the trip will be like. While online... More

We took the all day Colorado trip. It is a float trip so don't expect any exciting rapids. The float trip was average with great views, nothing exciting. The bus ride on Trail Ridge Road however was great! Our driver was Bill and he gave an amazing overview and history of RMNP. The bus ride was a tour in itself... More

Yes Bill does a great tour of Rocky Mountain National Park doesn't he. He's a retired school teacher who comes out from Ohio to be part of our team every summer. The van ride was better than the rafting? We are glad you liked the tour, but I think that's the first time we've heard that comment. I felt bad... More

The all-day rafting trip was a great experience. This is a well-run business. Our driver (Brian) was informative, funny, and personable. Our river guide (Ben) is one of the most enthusiastic people we've ever encountered; his love of the river and what he does is infectious. The trip was, as promised, mostly gentle floating in a spectacular setting with a... More

Thanks for the comments about Brian and Ben. Isn't it pretty over there? We will be closing down the operation there in about 3 weeks and are really looking forward to the same experience you just had. We look forward to your next trip to Estes Park. More

We did the all day raft ride and it was fantastic. It was our first white water rafting. We really enjoyed it, the water was up so it made the made a little faster which was great. The lunch was fantastic. Our van driver was a little aggressive but we complained to the company and they sent me back an... More

I know exactly who is writing this. We are glad you enjoyed the rafting - the Colorado River scenery is hard to beat. I love the feeling of being away from everything. We'll be there next month at this time when we go get all the equipment to shut down the river operation. Can't wait - there's no better way... More
