For $5/day, we rented snowshoes for the week. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Although we didn't buy any outdoor stuff, they had plenty to choose from (hiking boots, shoes, clothing). On highway 34 east about a mile out of town

I came here to rent snowshoes. They have a ton for rent and have distribution down pat. I was in and out quick. Lots of good deals on North Face in the basement. Plus I saw elk on the road when I went to drop them back off!

Rented snowshoes for the day for a hike in Rocky Mountain National Park. Helpful friendly staff, plus they have tons of items they sell, They have a discounted section downstairs, if you are so inclined to look for bargains. I would have given them 5 stars, but the snowshoes I rented didn't have all the clips for the straps, and... More

As I was travelling by myself to the Estes Park, but wanted to go on a hike without being in danger, I booked a hiking tour guide with the Estes Park Mountain shop. It was really worth the money! I got to go on a 16k hike, which I never would have thought is possible. We got to see snow,... More

I went here to prepare for a short back packing trip after getting my NPS permit. They gave me up to date information on my planned trip up Longs Peak (better than NPS) and rented me a bear barrel (required). They are open 8:00am to 9:00pm which is useful for returning rentals. They also do skiing and Mtn Biking equipment... More

On our last day in the area, we rented bikes from this outfitters place. Its a big establishment but they seemed busy on a Saturday. It took quite some time for someone to find us the bikes. And each person would leave us in the middle and go help someone else and ask some colleague to continue with our rental.... More
