We went with a group of four and were shocked to fine that the knowledge of the staff serving the wine was very poor. They seemed interested in pouring but lack knowledge. This included the female owner who couldn't answer basic questions. The wine tasted terrible. The grounds outside by the stream was lovely. The area was very busy as... More

Always a fun place to stop in Estes Park to watch people, sit along the river and enjoy a little local wine.

We tasted about 6 types of wine, but bought a bottle anyways of the one we liked the most. I was a little disappointed in their deck they had, as it didn't give the best view of the stream. Chocolate was advertised on a sign, but the only chocolate they sold were little pieces of individually wrapped Hershey's.

As usual...help very courteous and informative. The wine was excellent. Purchased a bottle for home and two wine glasses. Second time here.

Cute tasting room with lots of wines to try. The lady who helped us was nice and knowledgeable. I believe it was 5 tastes for $5. We ended up buying a bottle and taking outside to sit by the water in a private area across from the tourists. It was a beautiful day with stunning views and great wine! Can't... More

I visited with my mother on a day off from work. I had never been tasting before so I was looking for some guidance in figuring out what I liked and what I didn't. Our server never introduced herself and after we picked our wines (5 tastes for $5) she just set them down in front of us and said... More

The wines were good but the service was a little slow. After my purchase they had a swinging bench overlooking Big Thompson River and that was very relaxing.

A few days ago my fiance and I were looking for something to do in the Estes Park area. He suggested we try Valley of the Wind. I decided to look up reviews first. After reading up on the place I was pretty turned off but I didn't make the final decision not to visit until I checked out the... More

While the wives shopped the husbands went to Snowy Peaks but after looking around didn't seem to be impressed. Instead they found and took us to Valley of the Wind. All 4 of us enjoyed the tasting (which they allowed each couple to share). There was enough selection for a vaiety of palates and preferences. We found the couple working... More

My wife and I went to this winery after visiting Snowy Peaks, and what a come-down this place was. The staff was just as bad as previous reviewers stated, and they charge $3 more just for sitting outside. We didn't stay enough to see the signs mentioned in other reviews, but the staff could definitely use a crash course in... More

We don't feel like our winery is in competition with Snowy Peaks Winery and neither do Candice and Eric at Snowy Peaks. We encourage people to visit Snowy Peaks Winery and the Estes Park Brewery and they send people our way. All of our businesses make Estes Park a better and more fun place to visit. More
