Small lake but awesome help at marina. Set my kids up with the perfect bait, then headed out to a great spot. This marina had what we needed and a smile to go with it

If you have a dog in Estes Park, you will soon find there are not many places to walk your dog, especially in winter. You cannot take a dog on trails in RMNP, trails like Gem Lake and McGregor Ranch used to take dogs but don't now, and Hermit Park Open Space was closed for the winter when I went... More

Well, the lake is different since the flood, but I think it will return to being a beautiful lake next summer. (You wouldn't want to go out on the lake in the winter.) Gram, Mom and 2 granddaughters went out in a paddle boat--what fun. I laughed so hard I thought I'd have a heart attack (I'm the Gram). The... More

Lovely small lake. We rented kayaks and used the walking trails. The rentals were reasonable priced and they also have bikes, paddle boats, etc. Great way to spend an afternoon.

The entrance was hard to find with little in the way of signs leading up to the lake. Once there it offers little in the way of excitement as it is essentially a hole in the ground.

We drove thru thinking we might picnic here. It was busy, with a wedding under the pavilion. The area has has too many other pretty places for a free picnic. This is very close to town, so handy if you don't have much time.

we rented bikes from the Marina. The kids had fun. The rentals are not over priced. They had kayaks, bikes, paddle boats and even pontoons for rent all at good prices.

We rented a surrey for ninety minutes. IT was a lot of fun...but we could not ride all around the lake because it was partially closed due to a mother elk and her baby. But it was fun anyway.

This place can be busy so make sure if you are renting boats or bikes, to call ahead and make reservations. If you are looking for something to do while in Estes Park, head to the Marina, where the friendly staff there will help you rent a paddle boat, kayak, pontoon boat or even bicycles that can be pedaled by...
