Start at the Entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park! Drive west. For the next 3 hours you will see so much scenery and animals galore. Keep going! Stop at the Visitor's Center at the Top of the World! After your snack and glacial views, keep driving. You have to go back to get down! All the way west until you... More

We drove the peak to peak during the fall. We drove it about September 15th and it was prime viewing. There are plenty of places to pull over and snap some photos. Enjoy the beauty of Colorado!

I had my first experience driving on a mountain road at night (CR 7)on our family trip to Estes Park. While it was a little daunting for a south Texas girl, it was absolutely incredible. Even in the dark you could see the snowcapped mountain peaks and the valley that is Estes Park. Loved every minute of it.

You got to stop where ever you could to take picture otherwise you will regret it. Peak to peak scenic away is really its name... a beautiful Lili Lake and the road along the way... another stunning side of the Rocky Mountain landscape...

My husband and I took this route to travel from Estes Park to Vail. The views were beautiful! It didn't really add any time on to our trip and I would definitely recommend it!

Drove this route from Denver through Blackhawk and Nederland ands then up to Estes Park on SR 7. This is a very enjoyable drive, with wonderful scenery. Majestic mountains and wooded hillsides mark this route.

Never traveled this way before and due to the flooding we were able to have a new experience! Lots of fun and wonderful views.

I drove from Central City to Boulder the first week of June 2013. By myself in a tiny rental car. It is a great highway and I felt very confident. The only time I was a little "oh-oh" and nervous was driving into the state park. A lightening storm blew in fast. But otherwise, it was a great drive and... More

This road isn't for someone new in the winter. Check wind before you go as is is a good place to get you camper blown off the road. Summer only!

This highway is great as long as you don't want to get anywhere. If you want to get to Estes or Idaho Sprgs, take a real road. People drive way too slow, the winter streets are iced over and very dangerous. If your auto breaks down, you're going to be so far away from any civilization, that a tow is... More
