Decided to take this route up to Estes Park instead of the shorter and faster way. Was not disappointed. The views of Mt Meeker, and Longs peak are worth the trip. The stone church is also worth a few pictures. If you have time, stop by the Wild Basin and hike the falls, you won't be sorry.

The drive was pretty, but slow due to other cars not pulling off to let others pass. Can see where this drive in the fall would be amazing.

Spectacular doesn't cover it. You just have to go, especially at dawn or dusk. The beauty is breathtaking, and you can find snow year round, which is pretty fun.

Beautiful drive on well maintained road. Several pull offs for extra views. Be sure to take the small trails where there is parking. A lot of wildlife seen at the end of these short trails.

Simply a beautiful, relaxing drive. Beautiful during any season, but totally awesome in the spring and fall.

Absolutely beautiful!, great to see so much snow at this time of year.... Especially at the Alpine Village. Amazing vistas in every direction. Unusual to see so much water running down the mountain sides but just another captivating moment in the Rockies!

The Peak to Peak Highway is a lovely drive, but we do have better ones in Colorado. The road is a little rough after the 2013 floods. Stop in Allenspark for lunch if you get a chance.

We had been vacationing in Estes Park. We took this route south instead of the main highways down to Boulder/Denver. It was well worth it, beautiful scenery of the mountains, rock formations, and rivers. It is not overly long or curvy. Little town of Nederland towards the end, you can stop for a break. There are many trails along the... More

This is an absolute MUST in the Estes Park area. Wait until evening when most tourists are eating dinner and you'll have the whole place to yourself.

This scenic drive is a great alternative route from I-70 up to Estes Park. It does have quite a few switchbacks and the roads aren't in great shape, campers, RVs, MHs beware. Expected to see more wildlife in our late afternoon drive, but didn't.
