This is a great day trip for people visiting Denver, or for Denverites trying to entertain visitors from out-of-town for a day. Suggest starting from Estes Park (finish your touring in RMNP first). Drive slowly and be preparedt o stop and take in the MANY scenic vistas. Several towns along the away offer shops and eateries.
