This was a spectacular drive through the mountains. Something to see from every window! There are small areas you can pull off and get out of your car to get a better look and take pictures. You don't get bored at all as the landscape is so incredible. The kids were even in awe!! Such a treat. There are gas... More

A must do, scenery is beautiful. Lots to look at and enjoy as you drive through the mountains. Colorado Rockies at their finest.

we loved everything about this! Very pretty and awesome, we loved the views, I disliked the steep roads lol being from Ok where it is mainly flat I was scared to death of the mountain roads, but it was worth every minute of it!

Nice drive in our convertible. Went to a darling little town called Nederland. Cute shops and away from tourist town of Estes. Next time when visiting the area we will stay there.

We were hesitant to take this route back to Denver/Morrison from Estes Park because other reviewers had mentioned it took 3-4 hours. We checked Google Maps and was surprised to see 1.5 hour estimate for this trip. We took this route and are VERY glad we did. It was an easy drive with beautiful views; not much traffic even on... We have driven this road many many times over the years and it is still beautiful every time especially during the changing seasons. It is worth the time to take the casual drive and also to break of the main road to explore some back roads and small lakes in the areas to enjoy lunch with a view

We chose to take the Peak to Peak Scenic Highway from Estes Park on route to Moab, rather than go back to Loveland and HW 87. And so glad we chose the Scenic Highway. OK - a bit slower, but some great views and it takes you through Black Hawk and Central City, old gold mining towns with many of... More

It is a good road and there is never any traffic on it. This always amazes me as we take it every year on our trip to Estes Park. This year we started being adventurous. We took a new road that still got us to our destination but it took us off the Peak to Peak a little ways out.... More

We left plenty of time to do a couple of hikes while on this route. Our favorite part of the trip for sure. Lots of turn outs for picture opportunities.

We drove the route when returning to Estes from Idaho Falls during July which was not very impressive. The views were pretty but not spectacular. However, I imagine the route during the fall would be beautiful with the varying foliage. The drive to Cheyenne was the most beautiful route we have ever taken even in the summer.
