St. Malo's Church is a beautiful sight: a rock church perched on a knoll with awesome mountain scenery as a backdrop.

This was a beautiful drive that had me constantly pulling over to take it all in. I was lucky to be there while the leaves were changing so there was a lot to see. The snow covered mountains in the distance took my breath away. If you're short on time, this may not be the activity for you but if... More

The drive offered some good scenery but not enough pull off places. The view to the snow covered peaks was spectacular. Driving along here beside the huge rocks you can see why they are called the Rocky Mountqins.

Drove from Estes Park to Idaho Springs. The color was beautiful and the drive during the week is not crowded with lookers. Several great photo ops on the way plus Nederland is an interesting stop to stretch ones legs. Fall in the Rockies is great.

We drove the Peak to Peak from North to South, while hauling our 30 ft 5th wheel. This was not a problem, but the elevations raise from about 4500 ft to over 9000 ft. The drive up the Big Thompson River from Loveland was spectacular and we saw mountain sheep. We did the drive in Oct 2014 after a lot... More

This is a nice route, but we got there a little late to get the maximum amount of fall color. Still, it was worth the trip. There are lots of mountain vistas, and Mount Meeker can be seen for miles. Longs Peak comes into view as you get closer to Estes Park.

Driving through the highway was beautiful with the Aspen changing colors and seeing wildlife around. Great views of the mountains.

We saw a sign at the beginning of our journey for interesting sights to see along the way. We didn't see another sign until the end! There seemed to be quite a few things closed...the church had a gate across the drive. Did we come too late in the season? The views of the mountains were nice, but I would... More

Literally.... great views of the peaks plus cossing the continental divide on a well-paved road. Easy enough for all drivers.

Traveled from Estes Park, beautiful views, lots of wildlife, altitude proved a problem for spouse. Most scenic part if near Estes Park.
