We walked down from our hotel to experience this beautiful location. We highly recommend going but bundle up in the winter.

We were staying in a hotel right across the highway from here so got to visit a few times actually. There are places to eat, walking paths and plenty of wildlife in and out of the water. We were able to catch some great sunsets, watch the fog roll in, see a sea lion chase after some fish and also... More

Beautiful Harbor! Wonderful place to spend an afternoon. Nice remodel. Nice shops and atmosphere. Surely one of the most beautiful harbors on the northern coast.

The best way to access and visit the Crescent City Harbor is along Anchor Way, a road running along the breakwater on the south side of the harbor, which is reached from Redwoods Hwy (US-101) south of downtown. Along Anchor Way, one will find ample free parking, several good restaurants (Porcini, Crescent City Crab Shack and Chart Room) and views... More

as the title says, you can be disappointed elsewhere and if you drive 20 miles north there is a Harbor with some actual activities and some ascetic value , not to mention you will save 25 cents per gallon on gas. This Harbor has such potential yet no vision . there could be multiple attractions or even a single draw... More

I liked how you can walk around and see all of the boats. But there wasn't anything special. It is brand new after the Tsunami tore it down. Great spot to take pictures thought!

A harbor is not a place I would normally go to see wildlife but there are so many animals to see at the Crescent City one! The Harbor put up a bunch of floating docks where you can see seals and sea lions sunning themselves and playing in the water. There is also a cute restaurant at the Harbor where... More

I visited the harbor in September with my family; it was amazing! The sites are incredible with the offshore sea stacks, lighthouses and the ocean but the wildlife was even better! Sea lions all around serenading everyone who will listen and the occasional seal popping up to say hello. And I saw whales! Everyday! The remodeled harbor was amazing to... More

We live not too far from Crescent City, and frequently take the opportunity to visit this incredible restaurant. The finest fish and chips dinner available anywhere on the California-Oregon Border Coast. Superb service and a unique harbor setting. Watch the sea lions and crab boats come and go as you enjoy a great meal.
