Any Macadamia Nut you want!

I did not know that you could get macadamia Nut in so many flavors. You can also find Brittle in numerous flavors. Highly recommend this as a stop.

Coconut glazed, Chili Peppah, and Wasabi Macadamia Nuts are just some of the treats to be enjoyed at this wonderfully generous Nut Company. Walking in the door, one is greeted by the bright colors and tasting table laden with a cornucopia of differently flavored Macadamia Nuts, nut brittle, and flavored popcorn. Free samples of island coffee are a perfect accompaniment... More

It was a quick stop. Great for bringing home treats for friends and getting to sample the coffee, nuts and brittles. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

One of our favorite stops during our stay on The Big Island. Fun self tour. Friendly employees. Lots of samples. And to top it off great items to buy and take home. We loved it. Would go back again if we travel to The Big Island again.

We loved going to Hamakua Mac Nut Co. Be sure to get there before 5, even though they are open until 5:30. It would have been that much more fun to see the work in progress. The tasting tables are plentiful with no pressure to purchase. It was neat to see the huge mountain of mac shells in the back... More

Assuming you have enough time it is worth spending 1 hour here. You get the full program: Introduction Video with the production details, a view into the production, you can open you own nut (and eat it), and also enjoy a shop where you can taste as much as you want and of course also buy. This is not a... More

We got to the Nut Co. visitor center soon after it opened at 9. There are two tasting tables, one just inside the front door as mentioned by the previous reviewer, and one at the back. So many different flavors to try, as well as coffee, brittles, chocolate covered nuts, and raw macadamias you can crack from the shell (I... More

We loved trying the different seasonings & flavor of macadamia nuts. Our favorites were the coconut and the honey. The lightly salted Mac nuts are still the most popular. Some unique flavor were Spam, Jalepeno, and chili pepah (pepper). Great prices. Great selection. Great place for gifts to bring back home such as chocolate covered Mac nuts. Free, no admission.... We stopped at this little macadamia nut shop on our last day before we dropped off our car rental. They had a little table as you entered the shop which had so many varieties of macadamia nuts - honey roasted, wasabi, rum flavored, chocolate covered, spicy, and so forth. There was candied nuts like brittle and we tried some different... More

If you want to experience a macadamia nut company this is the place. They have sample of the nuts, candy and peanut brittle, as well as four different kinds of Kona coffee (different companies). Oh yeah, and unlike the other place on the east side of the Big Island you can have all you want. The samples are sitting out... More
