I have now been to the Pinnacles over a dozen times. My goal has been to see a California Condor. I think I am the only person with that many visits, that has not seen one. I stopped at West Pinnacles (near Soledad CA) during a road trip down 101. There are 2 entrances to the park, but you can only hike between them - not drive. The rock formations are beautiful. There are also caves to explore, but I didn't have a flashlight. The sunset glows off of the pinnacles - take a camera! Park... more
