Exhibits are thorough, interesting and hands-on. I didn't plan to visit the museum, but because the Fiesta launches were cancelled, we decided to visit. I'm not a balloon nut, but I learned a lot from this visit. More

This museum really does a great job showing the history of ballooning & gliders & blimps. There were some interesting hands on activities that one can do, but most of the what would have been really fun ones involving simulators were ALL nonfunctional. We more or less just happened up on the place. It's a relatively small museum (we're accustomed to things like the USAF Museum or the Naval Aviation Museum), but it is very well done. It is Smithsonian quality. Be sure to see it. More
