If you like ballooning, this is the museum for you. Lots of interesting facts and there was even a school touring when we were there. There is a great view of the balloon park from the second floor so be sure not to miss that. Small museum but don't miss it if you are in the Albuquerque area.

This is a very interesting museum and has a lot to take in. There is a large grassy field behind the museum, and that is where all of the balloons take off each year for the Balloon Festivals. I think only 500 are now allowed max. It is the largest balloon ascent in the world. They have a very nice... More

The information included in the museum was very interesting but was there on a Sunday afternoon and the museum was a ghost town. Have to say that the staff was really nice particularly the lady in the gift shop who helped me find a great hand made christmas tree ornament,

Toured the Balloon Museum as part of the 376th Heavy Bombardment Group Veterans Association. Learned all about the colorful world of ballooning. A museum docent gave our group a great tour of the place. Had a great display on the WWII Japanese balloon bombs which killed five Americans and started many forest fires. Enjoyed seeing the green expanse of grass... More

The museum offered both an informative and interactive history of ballooning and air travel. It is a great way to learn about ballooning and find our more about our amazing Annual International Balloon Fiesta.

I had no idea what a big deal the hot air balloons are in Alb. until we visited the museum. A walk through the museum doesn't take very long, but there are interesting displays and interactive areas for the kids. It is worth the small admission charge. If you are looking for souvenirs to take home, the gift shop is... More

I enjoyed my trip to the museum. A few of the interactive exhibits were not working properly, but other than that, it was very interesting, informative and enjoyable!
