Fun and interactive

Although our visit was cut short by a major storm and power outage, we enjoyed learning about the history of ballooning.

This was a outstanding experience. We did have a docent named Mary she was so passionate about the subject. She had great personal stories we went in not sure this was going to be something we would enjoy came out with a greater knowledge of the sport and throughly excited about our experience. Was well worth the time. They do... More

We went to this museum on a whim, on the first day of our vacation. We got in free because it was a Sunday which was a pleasant surprise. Very beautiful museum, interactive displays in the kids area. Plenty of photo ops. Well worth the time to stop by,

This is a great place to learn about all forms of ballooning and early aviation. Great information about world records, amazing flights. There are always special exhibits as well. Very reasonable.

This museum is relatively small but packed with a variety of displays. It traces the history of ballooning and provides visitors with a self guided tour which is easy to follow. Very interesting and entertaining.

This is a terrific museum if you're interested in the history of ballooning. We'd been to the balloon fiesta last year, but didn't make it to the museum till this trip. Very informative and entertaining.

It is a really great museum. They have a scavenger hunt for the kids to do, and my kids had a really great time finding everything. There was a table where they had crafts for the kids to do. There was also an virtual balloon ride. The staff was really friendly and knowledgeable. We recommend you stop by and check... More

This is a really unique small museum. The docent was informative and the exhibit space very well done. Some really interesting displays on how balloons work and some fascinating history of ballooning. The building itself is architecturally interesting and overlooks the field where the 600+ balloons are during the Fiesta. I hope to attend someday! The museum is well worth... More

The Balloon Museum is located adjacent to the launching site for the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. So, you can't ask for a better location. Yet, the beautiful building is lacking in sufficient exhibits to keep my interest. My wife and I were in and out of the museum in under 45 minutes. The views from the museum of the surrounding...
