It's a small attraction, but a much welcome break from the desert environment! I really enjoyed coming here to get away from the dust. They should update their plaques on the wall. I went for educational purposes and the plaques don't provide the information that many larger aquariums offer (such as species information, etc...). There were numberous paper fliers at... More

Don't expect anything on the scale of the Georgia or Tennessee aquariums. But in my opinion, it's the perfect size for a town like Albuquerque. There were some really cool exhibits. I liked the sting ray tank and the large tank with the sharks. It's a great place to take your kids or grandkids. It's worth going to especially since... More

A decent smaller sized aquarium. Kids (both teens) enjoyed it. Centerpiece is a large aquariums with the requisite large viewing area and underwater tunnel. Lots of sharks to keep the younger kids interested. Worth a visit, admission also included the nearby botanical gardens, also very good.

We go to ABQ 3 - 4 times/year to visit our grandchildren. We take them to the aquarium every single time. We enjoy it more and more each time.

Enjoyed our visit to the Aquarium. Well stocked with a variety of sea life. We went at opening on a Monday so the crowds were not too bad. Would recommend going on a weekday if you want to avoid children's groups and crowds. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

This Aquarium is one of the smaller ones, but it is still good. The exhibits are nicely done and easy for small children to see. The best parts are the stingrays and the shark tank. At this aquarium, there are no ropes, you can get right up to the glass and watch the animals come right up to you. Because... More

This was a relaxing break from driving around sight seeing. Watching the fish just puts you in a relaxed state of mind, especially the jellyfish tank.

Entrance is a combined ticket with the botanical garden. If you have small children, this is a better attraction. However, as adults this is maybe a half-hour feature. The jellyfish tanks are very good and about ten minutes worth of watching them float around. The large shark tank is worth another ten minutes of sitting on the bench and watching.... More

This aquarium is wonderful!! We enjoyed seeing all the Marine life. We happened to be there when they were feeding the fish in the Big Reef tank. The divers went in to the tank while we were there.
