Smaller children may like it better than teens. The shark tank was good and the feeding at the coral reef was interesting. I would only do it in conjunction with the botanical garden which was very well done.

ok for young kids but teens will move through it fast till the end at the shark tank. we waited for feeding at 2 but all they did was feed the rays and turtles. place was really full of younger kids. but hey the ticket includes the biological park too. Bring lots water, you will be walking a few miles.

It didn't take us long to get through, but the kids really enjoyed it. I guess I was expecting a bit more, but I think that may have been because I have been to better aquariums before. The kids and my hubby however, have never been to one and they thought it was the coolest thing ever. Not bad for... More

I do not think this aquarium was worth the $12 admission I paid, although if you are from Albuquerque, you only pay $9 (still not worth it). There were a lot of people there, so, trying to see the fish, you are blocked by children. There was a really amazing jelly fish area, but, some douche kept flashing his camera... More

We were in town for a wedding and had no kids for the weekend and I felt kinda silly going to an aquarium but so glad we did. It was a nice place to go and get out of the heat. I loved seeing the stingrays!

Its a small Aquarium but its fun for kids, they have a glass tunnel where you can see fishes and and a big pool of sting rays, the glowing jelly fishes and of course the little sharks, overall i would recommend going. Like i said it is a small aquarium but very pretty.

What a big disappointment!!!! Very small, not much to see! Save your time and enjoy the incredible zoo and botanical gardens.

In the middle of the desert you don't expect to find a very cool little aquarium with a kick butt cafe attached. While the actual aquarium is well done but on the modest side, Shark Reef Cafe is great! You can go to the restaurant without paying the entrance fee to the aquarium and still sit by the main tank... I have been a long time member of the BioPark and this is the most unfortunate and disheveled condition I've witnessed in our Aquarium. What is going on? A usual pleasure to attend, this time I really had to question what was going on. Gang graffiti etched in the Rio Grande tank glass in the entry - the hall of... More

Its a decent aquarium. This is was our 1 yr old's first aquarium visit, she had loads of fun. But if you are looking for a huge variety of sea life, this is not the place but they have a good collection. They also have a nice cafe which has one of the viewing glasses inside to enjoy the aquarium... More
