We've been to many zoos, but this was had it own charm. Yes, like the others have said, it's smaller than, say the Houston or Bronx Zoos, but it is definitely in a league of it's own. for $7/adult you really cant beat the value of this zoo. probably a smaller zoo relative to all zoos, but the animal displays were remarkable from a viewing/photo standpoint. many were open enclosures or caged areas where you could still stick a camera lens thru for a clear shot, the lone exception were the big cats. wide variety of animals... more

my kidsloved this zoo. you can get close to some of the animals(glass enclosures) like the monkeys, the kids loved them. the train ride between the zoo and the aquarium was a big hit too. more
