We visited the zoo on a weekday morning and had a great time. The zoo is big enough to be enjoyable, but not too big to get tired of walking and seeing the sights. We went in the morning be fire it got very warn as Albuquerque can do in the summer. The kids greatly enjoyed watching the polar bears... More

This zoo is truly one of the best in the country. The train that now connects the Biopark and the Zoo is a great way to travel between the two, although it's tough to imagine doing them both in one day. Plan on several hours at the zoo. It's worth it!

We liked the zoo, is a good option for the little ones. Just be sure to catch the last train from the bio park, is really far away from the zoo, like 20-25 minutes, and you don't want to make that distance walking. You're allowed to bring in a little cooler, take advantage of that.

The animals are all active and alert, there are many animals to see, especially in the amphibian and snake part of the zoo! They had many baby animals when we went which made it enjoyable see!! I brought my family to spend Father's Day at the zoo and my kids and I had a great time! It took us about 3 hours to walk the entire park and all the animals were awake and interactive. My son loved the zebras :) In my opinion it's the best zoo we've ever been to.

I have been to a lot of zoos- for the size and area, this is a wonderful zoo! Admission was reasonable and the zoo is part of a bio park. Great viewing area for the animals!!

now called bio park with zoo, aquarium, and little beach. Beach not worth it. Zoo was good but on smaller scale, enjoyed that. Aquarium was small, could do it in 1/2 hr. Prices were not bad at all but everything is smaller here than other states. Bring your own water bottles everywhere.
