My husband and I visit the zoo once a year and more often when our grandkids visit. The Ape Walk and several other smaller exhibits are currently closed for renovations. However, there's still plenty to see and enjoy. There is a good representation of the continents and excellent descriptions accompanying all the animals. Unfortunately, there are far too many "endangered"... More

I think the Bio Park should start the music concerts in May and go through August. It is a wonderful place to take out of town guests. Also, to be able to walk around and see the Zoo while still being able to hear the live music. The huge trees to have a picnic dinner provide the pefect shade.

The animal enclosures were large but you could still get very good pictures. The animals were very active, big cats and elephants.

Loved the Albuquerque zoo. Animals were easy to see. There were very nice enclosures- just an all around great zoo.

This is a great zoo if you're looking to kill a few hours without worrying you've missed half of it. We really wanted to see the hippos but it was hot out so they stayed underwater.

We can't say enough wonderful things about this attraction. You can tell the animals are so well cared for & happy. And when we want to relax, head to the gardens & chill.

For the city the size of Albuquerque, this is an impressive zoo. Mother's Day and summer concerts are always fun. Polar bears and seals in the desert. Great reptile exhibit. Best to avoid the hot part of the day in the summer

We've been going off-and-on for 20 years. Lately, the baby rhino is cute, and the hippos are wet. I love this place because it's not too big to see everything, but it has a lot of well-cared-for animals. I enjoy the flamingos, the reptiles, the komodo dragon, the polar bears, the koala bears, the gorillas, the kookaburras, the sea lions,... More

the minkies are inside and unavailable to see. the polar bear was out of exhibition :-( , we saw like 50% of the animal, the zoo is very beautifully in summer. Go to the explora or something more warmer if you have kids...
