To see these magnificent animals in the zoo, so well taken care of,and promoting the conservation of wildlife around all people made my heart smile! It's a terrific zoo and a welcome sight to see all the green (trees) and blue (water) in the desert!

Really enjoyed it. Quiet at this time of year (January) but everything is pretty much open except for a few of the food vending sites. Well laid out, and the train ride is very informative and worth the time.

Not a big zoo but lots of animals in well maintained enclosures. The admission price is reasonable compared to other zoos I have reviewed and the variety of animals is excellent. A very pleasant way to spend an afternoon. There is a train that goes around the park and also a second one to go to the nearby botanical gardens.... More

We attended one of the Zoo's concert nights on the lawn. Wonderful atmosphere - bring your own picnic and find a comfortable spot. Later the show was very interesting. Great evening out but depends on the weather.

This is a very cool zoo. Lots of animals that I have never seen or even heard of. Fairly big and took us almost 3 hours to complete. Very open and lots of great view of the animals without glass separating you from them. Almost all the animals we out and walking around and we went in January. Highly suggest... More

Lovely little place. All the animals seemed well cared for. Was a bit disappointed with the size of some of the carnivore enclosures. However, they are doing a lot of renovations so hopefully that'll help.

The zoo is such a great one. Good walking areas and entertainment with it. It is clean, has lots of areas for a picnic or has a snack bar,. Love to watch the monkeys, koala bears, and gorillas. They have events through out the year. The elephants paint pictures sometimes. I love to go to zoos and this is one... More

very nice to spend the day except many exhibits arent really viewable, animals not availiable or areas closed off. Trains not running, and some exhibits really dirty and smelly.

Many animals looked unhappy or unwell, screaming bratty kids galore who were climbing on fences, enclosures outdated and some too small, and in a bad area. Never again. Poor creatures.
