Nice activity for kids and adults

I nice local zoo that's more than you would expect. Try to go when it isn't quite so hot and the animals will be more active.

This zoo offers a full day of fun! There are lots of animals in large, well maintained exhibits. I was very impressed by the space the animals were given. We also took the train over to the aquarium and botanical garden. The best part was getting to see the baby hippo! A great way to spend your day!

Great shade, amazing setup, and awesome animals. Whole family loved it and we will be back. Train ride is LONG but still fun.

This was a really fun zoo. Very affordable and family friendly. It was nice to have a zoo and aquarium all in one.

Pros: The zoo is quite large and has many animals. They had some recently discovered reptile species in the reptile house. Many of the exhibits were large with plenty of room for the inhabitants. There is great variety in the animals there. There is also a train that runs between the zoo and the aquarium and botanical garden. Cons: Some... More

Absolutely the BEST zoo! It's not San Diego but I'll tell you that the ABQ BioPark Zoo is the most beautiful, easily navigated, most diverse mid-size zoo in the country. I was a docent for a few years and the animals are very much loved and cared for. Fun Fun place to visit. Summer concerts, Zoo Boo and overnight stays!... More

My daughter and I visited the whole bio-park. With the aquarium, botanical garden and zoo it was an all day affair. Was well worth the visit.

My family and I go to the zoo about 1-2 times a year. we are from roswell nm and it is a nice break from out little town. the kids seem to enjoy watching all the animals. especially the "new" arrivals to the zoo each year. I highly suggest you go to this zoo and enjoy yourself. It will only... More

I took my nephews to the zoo. We had a great time seeing all the animals. There's plenty of places to rest and people watch. We got to see the twin baby monkeys!! They were adorable. We had lunch at the cafe and it was very reasonably priced. All in all, we had a great and relaxing visit. My only... More

Not only do you get to hear great music, but you have well into the evening to visit the animal exhibits. It is truly a picnic environment, we can bring in our folding chairs, wheeled ice chests, blankets, etc. The price is right too, if you are a member, Senior, and music lover. We go early and get the best... More
