Ms. Wilson had complete control and mastery of the stage. Her vocal range, intonation and phrasing was shear joy. If you liked the Supremes, you will really appreciate Ma. Wilson. If you remember and enjoyed Lena Horne, Don't miss STORMY WEATHER if it is ever in your area.

The performance was excellent and the theatre is very nice. I had some problem hearing all that was said on stage. Be prepared to pay a $7 fee to park in the parking garage!

I don't agree with the other reviews of Popejoy and can't understand why it is rated so highly. I do agree that the shuttle bus service is a plus. Being able to park off campus where parking is ample and convenient -- and then being shuttle back and forth makes going to Popejoy doable. However, the campus area could not... More

We started going regularly to the theater season a few years ago and since have become patrons of Popejoy Hall, with all of the flashy pluses that come with it. But that's the least important aspect of attending an event at Popejoy. Most important to my wife and I are the convenience with parking and shuttle service from the lot... More

Words really can't describe this concert as it truly was magnificent! We saw all ages in attendance and can still hear and see in our minds eye so much from this performance. We hope they return next year as we would go again! Pope Joy Hall is a great venue to see any performance that comes there. Albuquerque is very... More

This, so far, is the best live performance we have ever attended. If you have a chance to attend a performance go, go, go!

This is a great place to see plays and concerts. We just saw Yesterday Once More - Tribute to The Carpenters and it was great. Seating is good and no matter where you sit, you are able to see everything.

Popejoy is located on the campus of UNM. Small Hall but very nice. There is a parking garage near. Each time I attend the parking fee is different so I can not tell you what is will be. There is several restaurant's within walking distance of the Hall.

Popejoy offers excellent touring current plays, musicals and one person shows. Top stars have performed in this theatre. Ed Asner, Loretta Switt, etc. Les Miserable, Wicked, Twelfth Night, Hello Dolly were all excellent! Sally Struthers was very good in Dolly. Her performance reflected a refreshing approach to a classic musical. We saw it with Carol Channing. then a community theatre... More
