We decided to forego the drive to Santa Fe from ABQ and took the Rail Runner. There were six in our group and it was nice to relax and chat/nap on the 90 minute ride. It was just a short walk to Old Town to experience Santa Fe. Not having been on a train for many years, this was a... More

the rest of our family used this to go to Santa Fe, $12 each....we preferred to drive our rental car and it took about an hour. Their tour in Santa Fe was very historical and I did not think it worth the money. Santa Fe is small, shopping is too expensive, do it in ALB instead.

Taking a road trip from Georgia to Albuquerque, we wanted to go to Santa Fe and we were thankful not to have to drive another hour. We rode the tram at Sandia Peak Saturday morning and then went to the Sandia Pueblo train station. The train ride had great views to Santa Fe and was very comfortable. Wireless I ternet... More

You can't beat the Rail Runner for price and convenience from ABQ to Santa Fe. A very relaxing and pleasant ride which may be cheaper than driving. If you are going for the day, take the 9:40 which arrives at about 11:00 and return on 4:10ish to Montano Station where there is ample free parking. The train is close to... More

This is my first time riding the Rail Runner. I have traveled the highway between Santa Fe and Albuquerque many times. It was nice to see this from a different perspective. We got off in Bernallilo for lunch. Wish there were more time options for connecting with the airport in ABQ. I did enjoy the trip.

Convenient boarding location in both Santa Fe and Albuquerque. Hotel provided shuttle service from the Albuquerque station.

I love the rail runner. It's clean, comfortable, usually runs on time and has wi-fi so I can relax, surf the web, read an iBook and generally catch up on facebook during the hour it takes to get from Albuquerque to Santa Fe for the day. My beef is that there are really limited hours of operation late at night,... More

Nice way to travel between Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Its still fun to ride the rails. Be aware that it is a commuter train and plan accordingly.

Instead of driving to Santa Fe, I chose to ride the Rail Runner and it was great! There is plenty of parking in and around the train station, and you can't beat the cost of the train ticket! The train was clean, and the conductor was willing to answer anyone's questions. Upon arrival in Santa Fe, a free shuttle is... More

You can save a dollar by purchasing your tickets online, however it turns out you can pay once you board the train. There were no trains that headed non-stop to Santa Fe. There were frequent stops all the way. If you get motion sickness, don't ride in the upper level. It bounces side to side often and of the weather... More
