My husband and I have been to La Cumbre several times and also buy their Elevated IPA in cans regularly. Their beer is just so good! We've tried many different styles but are hop heads so the IPA's and the recent Red Ryeot are our favorites. The Dank IPA was right up there with Elevated but a bit more citrusy.... More

Last night we decided to try a couple of local breweries. There are six less than three miles of our house, and we couldn't cover too many in one night, so acting on a tip from a friend La Cumbre was one of our choices. As soon as you walk in the door you feel the community of the place,... More

Had a great time at La Cumbre's tasting room. 4oz flights made it possible to try everything on tap, and each sample found at least one fan at our table (the RIS was a particular favourite). Their project dank ipa had just received a gold medal, but our sample was the one that kicked the keg and suffered accordingly -... More

If you like hoppy beer, you can't be disappointed. They do hops better than microbrew. Complexity, flavor that'll punch you in the chest, and not a bad beer on the chalkboard. The establishment itself is great and rustic, the way you come to expect with a microbrewery. Be mindful though. Because of their beers' perfection, it's usually VERY crowded and... More

I have been a regular customer of this establishment after trying most of the many microbreweries in town. I have come to the realization it is by far the best when it comes to the quality and selection of micro brews, with many specials constantly rotating. While I am partial to an IPA, and their Elevated IPA is superior to... More

This brewery won a national prize for their IPA and, being a fan of beer, I was game to make the extra effort to FIND this place with friends who also wanted to include it on our little brewery tour...I found the atmosphere a bit lacking- not enough ambiance in general- ( although a sweet culinary student DID give us... It's a nice brewery and their beers are really good! They are located in an industrial type area, so it's a little off the beaten path. Once you find it though, you won't be disappointed. I can get crowded but that's all part of the experience. Definitely a good time. They don't serve food but there is always a food... More

I've been to La Cumbre about a dozen times over the past few years, and I've finally come to a comfortable conclusion.... I won't be going back. At least not until they fix the parking situation and/or move to a larger building. Virtually every time I've been, it's crowded and unpleasant. The service isn't very friendly either... probably because it's... More

We stopped in after reading the fabulous reviews- we had high expectations! There were people of all different types - some parents with kids, people with dogs, people there for business lunch, seniors and twenty-somethings. Everyone seemed happy, and the beer was amazing! There was a food truck there - A-Dough-Be - flatbread pizza - we had the Margarita Pizza... More
