We were greeted as we walked in the door. And they were busy. Service was good and the inside was nice. But we came for the beer. We had 3 different beers. They were just ok, nothing special. We've been to a lot of breweries and have tasted a lot of beers. Probably wont come back.

Come here for the beer, they don't serve food. The beer is excellent though. This is their third year in business and it just keeps getting better. If you like hoppy IPA don't miss the Elevated IPA, their flagship beer.

We enjoyed our flights to find which one we liked. It would have been nice if they had a few appetizers to accompany the choices.

The beer was good (they have enormous servings!) But the bar was awkwardly located in a warehouse area not close to anything else. And the layout was off, with a separate area upstairs.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE La Cumbre beer!! I have tasted many micros all over the world and La Cumbre competes with them all very well! The brewery is difficult to find if you don't know where you're going because you would never expect it to be where it is. It's located in an Industrial area, but don't let that sway you from... If you love excellent beer, this is the place. La Cumbre is in an a light industrial area so there isn't any outdoor seating. There's not a lot of indoor seating either, but if you LOVE good beer, this is the best in ABQ in my opinion. You can get growlers to take home. Or, we have our soda kegs... More

This is the best brewery in ABQ. I have high standards when it comes to beer and this place is great! Sometimes the place can get crowded and when the bands show up, it can become a little loud. They don't serve food but there is most often a mobile food truck serving up delicious food. Try everything they brew!... More

What a fun place! The owners are there making sure everyone's enjoying and getting "elevated." Their beers are bar-none the best in town - and no one can beat their IPA. Hungry? no problem - they've usually got a yummy food truck parked right outside to take care of that - they bring it right in while you're having a... More

I'm not a big beer drinker, but I enjoy going to La Cumbre and tasting some of their brews. My husband and son are addicted to this place, so we always go when visiting ABQ, fill up the growlers, throw them in the cooler, and bring them back home to our friends. There is always a variety to taste. At... More

We travelled Route 66 stopping off in micro breweries along the way. One of the best - great range of beers and good wholesome food.
