Foul Play Cafe is an interactive mystery dinner theater. Our shows are a great way to spend a night out with friends or celebrate a special occasion. We serve up an entertaining and fun filled comedic mystery and a four-course dinner while you play detective and decide whodunit for a chance to be our super sleuth at the end of the evening. Our shows consist of four (and occasionally 5) 10-30 minute acts with courses served at intermissions. Full show and dinner takes about 2.5 hours. They are performed "environmentally" - that is the action is occurring throughout the room and not on a stage. Audience participation is encouraged but not required. Shows are offered year round, Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 PM. Shows and menu change every three months. Our shows are fairly intimate most nights, with us playing for groups of 15-60 guests.

FOUL PLAY CAFE

Great fun! Never attended a "Who dunnit" before. Food was good. Actors were fun and entertaining. Nice venue. Glad we did this on our trip to ABQ.

When the doors opened for business, I was a little surprised to find that this restaurant was actually just a sectioned off room in the Sheraton. We were greeted by an appropriately dressed saloon girl with a heavy old-style western accent. We were seated around the curtain at our table. The room consisted of banquet style curtains on both sides... More

The Foul Play Café is an interactive dinner theater where the wait staff are also the actors. My family has attended several times and enjoyed the experience. The audience participate in the show and have to guess who the villain is. There is a choice of a four course dinner. Alcohol is available for an extra charge, Reservations are required.

We saw Murder at the Abilene Saloon and although those 10 years and under would be too young, older kids would be entertained! This was our second time going and it was just as good as the other play we saw! For the price ($60 group rate included dinner and show and tax and tip--although you're asked to separately tip... Good food, lots of laughs, and good friends made it a great evening. I even deduced the killer. We will be back to see another great evening! See you soon.

Tried this on a whim, and it was OK for a bit of diversion on a Saturday night. The cast was amiable and erstwhile with modest talent pushing melodrama stock characters. Production values were minimal, singing was the best part, but not special - Lily Crabtree had a good voice, the others vamped. Thought "Happy" needed some more rehearsal time,... More

This was a fun evening with fairly good food (3 out of 4 of our dinners were excellent , but the 4th was not so good... And we all had the same meal!) and something different and full of laughs to do. Wouldn't want to attend all the time... But every now and then it would be great. The play... More
