We enjoyed our tour (and our host/owner who told us anything and everything you would want to know about alpacas) and loved being able to pet and feed the cuddly animals. Each one seemed to have their own personality and history so it was fun to watch them interact with people and each other. A really, nice informative tour. Great... More

A sweet family activity to get up close to the animals and learn about their care and farming. Sweet animals and a great host and staff. Definitely worth your time.

A wonderful gem hidden in the heart of Albuquerque. I'm a sucker for cute furry animals. This definitely fit the bill. A few alpacas are a little skittish, but overall they are very sweet and tame. No spitting or kicking to be seen.

My sister and I took my two teenage children on the tour of the alpaca farm. What a fantastic day! Excellent tour given by the owner - he's fantastic with kids, especially special needs kids. Very informative and educational, but fun. The alpacas are sweet and loving - obviously they've been socialized since birth. Close up and personal with animals.... More

My daughter was visiting and wanted to see alpacas. So we made the appointment and went to see the alpacas. We learned a lot about them and why these particular ones are such stellar animals, winning awards. It's a beautiful area and Skip, the owner, was patient with our questions. The store had some great items at reasonable prices. Next... More

My family have never met alpacas before, but Skip Chavez gave us a very thorough tour, answering questions and introducing us to his fuzzy group. We thoroughly enjoyed learning about these mild-mannered animals and seeing their habitat. Thanks, Skip, for a great experience!

My family & I, which included my 1 1/2 year old daughter visited Albuquerque Alpacas one morning. And what a delightful experience. My daughter loved the alpacas, they even had some baby alpacas & a friend alpaca named Bella. Very friendly people and informative. It was a wonderful interactive experience and I would definitely visit again next time we are... More

So... The wife loves alpacas. I wasn't too fond of them until I went to see them here at Albuquerque Alpacas. They're a different type of cool fuzzy little animals. Not only did we enjoy feeding and viewing an afternoon in the life of these animals; we were able to learn more about them in an informative tour. I missed... More

We called and scheduled a visit to the Albuquerque alpaca ranch. What a fun little adventure. We were given a private tour of the ranch and got to spend time with the alpacas up close. They were as friendly as dogs, yet softer fur. They were adorable. My daughter even got to walk one! We both fed them and one... More
