Hands-on science is waiting for you and your children to explore and realize. Many of our school children go here with their classes, but it's better to enjoy as a family.

It's great and very interesting. I go at least twice a month and my granddaughter and I never get tired of it. The staff is friendly and helpful. You can take your own lunch and they have areas where you can sit and eat. Many things too do there is a great park across the street and two more museums.... More

This is a great children's museum. If a family with young chilodren is visiting Albquerque, this should not be missed.

Awesome science museum where kids can learn all sorts of things. We went in the morning and there were a lot of school groups, but they seemed to clear out around lunch.

My grandson, 5 years old, lives in another town and when he visits, which is often, he wants to go to Explora. There are activities for the whole family and we all have fun. There are facilities to have birthday parties and other celebrations. I suppose there may be an extra charge for parties, but I don't know.

Steps off the old town, a good children's museum. It feels new and fresh with good and varied exhibits. Staff very friendly and engaging. The high wire bike, mind puzzles and of course the elevator are highlights. No food/drink available.

There is so much to do. For small guys and adults and everything in between. My six year old loved the water exhibits, and the planes, and the bubbles, and, well, everything. He was enthralled with the big elevator that housed a sofa and two chairs. I enjoyed the mind puzzles. There are staff members everywhere, glad to help you... More

Great exhibits, terrific staff. Lots of fun for all ages, especially 5-12 or so. Can easily spend 4-6 hours here.

David rode the high wire bike. It was full of things for the kids to do and kept them occupied. We loved the water portion of the museum. It was neat to play in the water physics. We managed to get the airplane to fly. We weren't successful at building a contraption. But it didn't matter, the kids just liked... More

So my family has visited many children's museums and this is hands down the best one out there. There is just so much to do! This was made with kids (of all ages) in mind. Every station has something interesting. We were there for hours and hours and did not probably see more than 1/4 of the museum.
