The offerings change throughout the year, and every one of them will present some things you may have read about but never expected to see in person. For example, the Titanic Exhibit was incredible. You can roam through the exhibits at your leisure, but no photos are allowed. Be sure to check out the days that offer a discount you... More

This is a very enjoyable museum, suitable for children and adults. The displays are informative, and the hands-on activities are fun. The content covers a wide range of science topics, and there's a nice vibe of exploration, play and learning. The set-up allows for solo and/or group and family interaction, as well as random stranger interactions. Visitors can explore as... More

I have taken my grandchildren to explora several times a year for the past ten years. Every time it's been great, and there has always been something for them, regardless of age (the oldest is now 12). The only down side is that you have to have an exit strategy to get the kids to leave after a reasonable amount... More

We were disappointed in what was advertised as kid-friendly was not that at all. Some historical stuff for adults, but not much for the 10 and under crowd.

can't say anything negative about the place... the kids (4,6 and 9) all had a fantastic time and there's plenty to do for kids of all ages... even us 47-year-olds

We went on Adult Night at the Explora! and truly enjoyed ourselves. The hands-on learning activities are interesting and fun. We especially enjoyed the fountain with the jumping water that onlookers can help guide and the bubble tank where we could make giant bubbles. The opportunities to play with science and engineering are entertaining even when you don't understand all... More

Wow. This place is incredible! First I went to the little toddler room with my twin 20 month olds. They LOVED the toddler room, lots for them to do and explore in there. When I was ready to let them be free, I went out to find my older children who were absolutely learning their hearts out and having a... More

The best children's museum for kids of all ages. My 3, 4.5, and 8.5 years old had a blast! For those familiar, it's a cross between Norwalk children's museum and the Liberty Science Center. The museum of natural history is across the street.
