A different children's museum

The museum was very interesting. We visited several museums in Albuquerque and found they were all very good and we saw a variety of things in them.

My husband and our three kids (9, 10, 13) spent over three hours here. We would have stayed longer except we had a plane to catch. So much to do, my kids learned a lot. I thought it was weird, however, that people were eating ice cream and drinking sodas inside the museum, at the exhibits.

One of the best places to take kids in the state of New Mexico. Realistically, you could spend half a day here.

Explora is an unusual and fun museum experience for children and adults. To fully enjoy the experience you have to be aggressive and wander. Some elements will appeal more than others depending upon your own personal interests or ages of your children.

Such a great place for kids and adults. Lots of hands on displays so you get to touch and learn! I really learned a lot about how things work. The adults had just as much fun as the kids!!

I have been here many times and my children always really enjoy it. They have plenty of great hands on activities. I also enjoy the location and being close to Old Town.

This is a really, really good children's museum. The creators clearly did their homework and put together a fantastic place to spend several hours. We had to drag our 5, 9, and 12 year old away...and my wife had to drag me away.

I used to live near this location. It has always been on my to-do-list. However, we had the babysitter take our 7 and 5 year old to Explora for the day and they will not stop talking about the experience. I will definitely go with my kids at some point this summer. Not only did they learn a lot, they... More

I took my brother's family here because they have young children and we all loved it! I would go even if I didn't have the excuse of the kids. Very cool interactive exhibits. They have cool events and adult nights too.
