This is a fairly small, cozy zoo. It's an older place and looks a bit dated, even a bit rundown, but it's a very pleasant place to walk about and look at the animals. Lots of water and vegetation, we were there on a very warm day, but because of the layout, we hardly noticed the heat. Lots of winding,... More

First time visiting this zoo. Liked the layout. Gave appearance of natural habitat for animals. Many interesting species and good explanation at each area.

The zoo is not very big but it has a lot to show. There are a lot of animals in unique surroundings. The aquarium is fun, especially touching the sting rays and the reptile area is one of the most unique I've seen. Some of the animals have babies and its a great thing to see them with the adults.... Despite it's relatively small size, about 30 acres, this zoo offers a lot. The winding nature of the trails make the zoo seem much larger and offer great views of the many animals. They have apes, rhinos, giraffes, bears, crocodiles (and an entire reptile center), many types of birds, monkeys, seals and many more. The zoo supports many conservation programs... More

The collection of apes (gorillas, chimpanzees & orangutans) is awesome. We spent couple hours here and thoroughly enjoyed it. A singing monkey, baby orangutan and a talking white parrot made our day. The collection of reptiles is also great. Butterfly garden is really a shame (and they charge extra money for it). Somehow, I felt that the zoo could use... More

What a pleasure it is to walk this zoo. I've seen the best zoos in the world and imo this could be one of them. Some of the exhibits are dated but you can see they are changing things around to a more modern view. The zoo wraps and wanders around so much you think you are lost. That's the... More

The zoo has been better. I feel that more attention needs to be to the animals. Will probably return again
