Our family visited the Selena Museum on Tuesday, March 17th. The lady at the front desk was extremely nice, although she kept getting interrupted by having to take phone calls. That was completely ok though, we understand. She even apologized about it because she got really swamped between the phone that kept ringing and a good size group of people... More

Growing up in south Texas, Spanish music was a big part of my up bringing. As a little girl, my friends and I would go house to house in our neighborhood, charging 25 cents per song, and we would perform Selena's music. This was the first time that I visited the museum, and it was really cool! As soon as... More

The museum was very nice. Not very big though, it was her studio. The statue isn't any where near the museum, but they had her clothes, her car, her albums, her microphone, and her collection of eggs. The charge was $3 per person, and we also got to meet Selenas dad Abraham Quintanilla.

I can't explain how I felt taking those first steps in the door. It's as if she was still here. Her music playing in the background made everything come alive. Stepping into the Recording Studio I could picture her singing. I stood in awe! It was amazing. I often wonder what it would be like to know her on a... More

The museum is amazing, and everyone who works there is nice! I've been going for a few years now and loved every single visit. About the people who gave poor reviews because of the time q-productions is closed, the hours for the museum have ALWAYS been up to date on the q-productions website and the website has always showed "closed... Not what I expected, it was a small open air Gazebo with a very beautiful statue of Selena. I expected more. But it was in a beautiful setting and was free.
