I live here in Corpus Christi and have watched many games at Whataburger Field. It is a 1st-class baseball stadium. It is a well-run facility and well-maintained. A unique thing about Whataburger Field is the backdrop of the Harbor Bridge in right field. You might even see a big ship entering/exiting our harbor. You won't see that anywhere else! There... More

This is a wonderful little park to bring the family. The games are fun and the park gets everyone involved. We have gone to baseball games here several times even though we live in the Houston area.

We actually didn't go to the actual field we went to Brewster Ice house right across the road, it was an amazing show though.

Whataburger Field opened in 2005 and is the home of the Corpus Christi Hooks, a double-A affiliate to the Houston Astros. Tickets are only $12.00, but check out their website for special event promotions to get really good deals. The stadium seats up to 6,000 people. It is located just off the Harbor Bridge across from the USS Lexington and... More

Been here for a few games.....well laid out, good concessions, but far and away is the location on CC bay/ship channel with views of passing ships & the colorful lights on the Harbor Bridge. I'm actually excited to go to ball games here! (IMHO Too hot though when temps. Are above 90)

Positives: great setting; great amenities; great concessions; great baseball Negative: tricky to find We'd seen Whataburger Field, home of the Double-A Corpus Christi Hooks, on television. It's next-to-the-water setting looked really cool...a sort-of minor-league version of San Francisco's Candlestick Park. Attending a game in this stadium was high on our wish list. Unfortunately, our arrival in Corpus Christi coincided with... More

I visited Whataburger Field several times this summer and loved it every time. It's hard to have a bad seat...just avoid the first base outfield side because of the sun. All other seats are great! We felt like part of the action because of how the seating is arranged and my grandsons had fun getting players' autographs. I'm looking forward... More

we have gone to Whataburger Field for a couple of the Hooks games, and love it. Spacious, beautiful view of the Harbour Bridge(beautiful when it's lit up at night), interesting concession areas. If you are lucky enough to be in a suite, the staff is extremely good. If you are sitting outside, the ambience is just a blast. A great,... More

Best family entertainment in Corpus. Home of the Houston Astros double A affiliate. Stadium is fantastic. Not a bad seat in the house. Try the rocking chairs in left/center field for a different experience. You will love it. Lot's of activities for kids in the outfield play area. You can also bring a blanket and sit on the grass berm... More
