we enjoyed this place so much. we went on a cold and rainy day in January 2015, but we still enjoyed it so much. The staff was very knowledgeable, and spent time with us talking about the animals and birds. There is a Reptile Room, where we saw snakes, iguanas, and turtles. There was an animal trainer, named Jay, that... More

We went in late December so there was not much to see in the way of flowers but the Arid Garden was nice and we really enjoyed the birds, many of whom talk and dance. My grand kids loved the reptile area and the staff were very informative and even let them hold a snake! Very reasonable admission price and... More

We had a great time here on our visit with a variety of coastal plants and wildlife. The fee was $7 - very reasonable and had a gift shop as well. The place has a beautiful selection of orchids, metal sculptures, animals, birds and plants for us to enjoy. Our walk lasted maybe 2 hours and was well worth the... More

This gardens and nature center were well worth the admission fee! It was such a pretty day to stroll through the grounds! As an added bonus a local metals artist had a multitude of sculptures on display, making you pause to look at them and enjoy the surroundings! We had a great time!

Unfortunately we visited on a rainy day so we were not able to all of the areas since the water puddles were too deep to maneuver around. Loved chatting with the parrots and other colorful birds. We will have to go back when the Orchid Conservatory and greenhouse is completed.

Nice selection of plants. Was surprised at the amount of exotic birds there too. Also had a small room with reptiles. They also had metal sculptures throughout the grounds. Could have spent longer there, but our kids were ready to leave.

Beautiful, peaceful environment. Go by yourself for a quiet walk through the gardens, or take your kids for butterfly release days! Ask a horticulturist about your favorite plants. Talk to the parrots and other animals. They even have a gazebo for weddings or a peaceful memorial service. You name it. And keep in mind that a couple times a year... More

We recently visited the Botanical Gardens with our son and his family to take some family photos among the beautiful flowers. I was surprised by how much more there was to see and do than just admire the plants. Walking trails, creative sculptures, colorful parrots, hummingbirds, turtles and plenty of amazing areas to serve as backdrops for our photo shoot... More

The sculptures - all made from found scrap metal - were amazing! The gift shop had some interesting things. The plumeria were truly magnificent. even the end of season roses were lovely. I have never seen so many hummingbirds anywhere ever, it was great! The butterfly garden had some beautiful butterflies, which I was lucky enough to photograph, and feeding... More
