Still a long way to look like Dallas Botanical Garden or San Antonio Botanical Garden but still a great place to visit, I love what they are doing with this place despite the hot temperatures they manage to keep beautiful plants alive, they have plenty of room to grow and expand, I mean 120 acres is a lot of land... We took a day off from the beach and were pleasantly surprised at these gardens. We went in the heat of the summer but it was still nice. We love orchids and were amazed at the orchid greenhouse. Amazing display of all orchid types. Sam Jones (greenhouse is named after him) was very helpful and informative. Lots of beautiful birds... More

On smaller side for botanical gardens, nice plumeria grove, and also a parrots, turtles, and iguanas on display. Several new improvements, butterfly house, Orchid green house and a bromeliad green house. Reasonably priced at $7.00

We were surprised by the variety and size of the gardens. The different types of birds and reptiles were interesting. Enjoyed seeing some non-native plants thriving in south Texas.

Still growing in Corpus Christi. It seems every time I come visit they are adding new exhibits. It has certainly gown and changed from it's inception. I always like the "Moon Light in the Gardens" event which is their big fund raiser in the fall. Dinner, cocktails, dancing, and shopping the auction items.

Great places to visit. They have several trails, treehouse, playground, birds, butterfly house, reptile exhibit and much more. They have several benches throughout were you can take a break and an indoor (ac) exhibit with reptiles. Good value.

We saw the signs on the roadway and since we had some time decided to get off and take a look. The entrance off Staples is so rough that your vehicle can easily be damaged by the potholes and frankly torn up parking area. There were not that many people there however it was early in the morning. I am... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Gardens. They have a spectacular array of plants and flowers along the path. They also have parrots and a butterfly enclosure that you can enter (absolutely gorgeous!). There are several lovely seating areas and lookout points along the way. My only regret was that I did not expect to be walking outdoors with... More

I have enjoyed watching the Botanical Center grow since it's beginning. Now it is a masterpiece of design and horticulture. The wandering paths are truly beautiful and peaceful. The events are fun for all ages. When I need horticulture advice of any type, I go to the experts there who have always been more than helpful. Great brochures and information... More
