Although it was rainy we enjoyed seeing all the plants, birds and butterflies. I did not like seeing caged reptiles and birds I would rather see them in their more natural state.

This place was just ok had lots of nice walking trails. Many areas not kept up and need attention. The entry fee is way to much for what you get.

There are many trails, and lots of areas to rest along the way, which was a plus. The sensory garden was a favorite, both in it's design and composition. However, what was billed as a butterfly house was not a butterfly house but an open air canopy. I enjoyed the juxtaposition of native habitat with more formal gardens. But I... More

We went when not much was blooming but still enjoyed a stroll around the area. The man working the reptile house was friendly and told us a lot. There were some cute rescue parrots outside, and various plants. All the orchids were in bloom which were very beautiful. The arid garden was well kept, and our walk by the alligator... More

I toured the gardens on a nice 75 degree day in Feb. I enjoyed the trails especially by the ponds. While not a super formal garden it is worth the tour just to see the natural aspects of the land.

We went primarily for the birding but discovered much, much more. Beautiful roses in full bloom (in January!!), reptiles, edible landscaping, great walking trails, an arid garden filled with different specimens of cacti, and all manner of birds ranging from the exotic parrots (in cages) to woodland and wetland dwellers. Not crowded at all on a weekday morning, it was... More

We enjoyed a pleasant visit here which included caged tropical birds such as cockatoos and parrots as well as a greenhouse with lovely orchids, a butterfly area, a nature walk over a wetlands area, a cactus garden, and a rose garden.

We've passed by this place for the past few years and found a deal on Groupon so we decided to check it out. They had several caged exotic birds and a tortoise pen, but they were not indigenous species. They had a a butterfly garden with a few species of butterflies, Did not observe any info on which species are... More
