It was quaint, but needed more signage and detailed information. More

I am very glad we stopped here. There were quite a few flowers and plants to take pictures of. The boardwalk takes you out to the water where you can see all the birds from a good distance. There were some huge birds way off in the distance that I wish would have had some binoculars on hand. Besides the... More

I'm not a bird watcher, but even I liked it. It has a boardwalk that leads from the parking area out to the edge of Oso Bay maybe a quarter mile or so. Amazing number of waterfowl in the mud flats at the end of the boardwalk. During bad weather, some shelter in the canal that parallels the boardwalk. The... More

Hans Suter is a terrific boardwalk out on to an estuary. The birds are magnificent. I love coming here. More

I was there for less than two hours and spotted over 20 species of animals: Two types of pelicans, avocets, ducks, teals, coots, skimmers, spoonbills, kingfishers, turtles, coons, 2 types of egrets, 2 different herons, etc.. Its a little odd that the water comes from the reclamation plant but there is no offensive smell. There's a pier that goes next... More

Found out about this area from a brochure at Padre Island National Seashore. Really glad I visited. Easy trail, boardwalk overlooking shallow area containing literally thousands of birds. Skimmers, pelicans, gulls, avocet and numerous other waterfowl were the featured events of the day. Visited twice and each time, occupants were a little different. Well worth the stop here. More

A great birding destination within the city limits of Corpus Christi. A short nature trail connects the parking lot with the boardwalk. Depending on the time of the year you are liable to see hundreds if not thousands of birds across the lagoon and marshland. The trail and boardwalk provide easy access for anyone with mobility issues. Don't forget to... More
