Indian park is located between Portland & Corpus , it is a great location for fisherman to fish at the pier and kids enjoy access to the water as current is not to wavy.

I read all the TA reviews, but I had to see for myself. The only thing there is a GREAT fishing pier. The bathrooms are port-a-pottys, but the pier is long and big. This place has great potential if someone would invest some time and money to put in a bait stand and sell snacks and beer. The building is... More

Grew up fishing with my dad at this pier. Pier has been rebuild various times due to hurricane destructions. Great place to try your luck at fishing. Fishing is exceptional in winter months when bull reds come in to spawn. Several other species of good eating fish frequent the waters of the pier. A good spot to view the many... More

This is a great pier to fish on if you bring chairs, drinks, bait, and gear. We have caught shark, reds, trout, drum, and perch. Bathroom facilities are not always clean but at least they are there.

I was very disappointed in its appearance. Several years, this was my first fishing experience and especially catching a 37" Golden Drum. We began to make it a habit of going at least twice a month and got to know Mike who was the keeper of the place. Then he got transferred because of his military position ad left and... More

Indian Point Park / Pier has a large pier for fishing, as well as a walking path (paved) for those wanting to take in the natural seashore while getting some exercise.

A little hard to get to but fun to take a try at fishing in the bay for a very small cost. Success is as good as any other pier fishing in the area.

Bird watchers know to visit Aransas Pass and the beaches on Mustang and Padre Island. We found this place my accident on our first trip and stop here each time for shore birds. We got our lifer Long-billed Curlew here in February, 2002. It's off Rt. 35 between Corpus and Portland. On Google maps it's part of Sunset Lakes Park.

Lots of parking and the boardwalks and pier were in good condition. The amount of litter was a bit discouraging though.
