If you want to see people fishing or do some of your own its a great place. You can get something to eat, snack, relax or just watch the sun come up over the water in the morning. It is on the beach but driving is not a problem and plenty of parking.

I have a personal connection with this pier since it's one that I've experienced over and over again since childhood. I fished here many times in my childhood and youth along with my father. Yet even now I can't resist walking the length of the pier and feeling the presence of the sea all around me. It's nice to chat... More

Bob Hall Pier is famous for fishing and they charge for entry. There is a long, long beach area here with nearby restrooms and showers, and a restaurant with good food. It's fun to watch people on this pier (which is like a road and I'm not exaggerating). Nearby, you can ask for accessible beach wheelchairs that go in the... More

You don't need a pass here. There are restrooms, albeit not the nicest. .. but better than peeing in the water or dunes. There's paved parking. Always crowded so get there early to claim a picnic table.

There were too many locals jamming up space along the pier with lots of coolers and fishing gear, along with dead fish scattered about. The beach area was crowded and little messy...looks like a local hangout.
