Great place to fish and watch the big fish come in. You have to pay a little to get on the pier but I'm sure they must use money for upkeep as pier is clean and well kept. Even when our lines were not biting we enjoyed watching the excitement of those who were bringing in fish!

Went out there to relive a childhood memories of watching the sea life under the pier lights but was disappointed that did not happen. The water was choppy and green so we could not see anything. I was disappointed that it now cost too :(

This is a beach where the locals hang out. There's plenty of free parking only steps away from the beach. There are covered picnic tables, public bathrooms, a restaurant, and plenty of room to enjoy yourself. The water is clear, and the waves are awesome.

Went here after the beach and Pier, should have ordered before the beach. It took 30 minutes to get our food, not including the 10 minute service wait. But on the flip side the food was very good

Bob Hall Pier is great. I have not fished off the actual pier, but the beer joint is a wonderful place to relax any time of the year. The beer is not inspired (they occasionally have a good seasonal beer, but otherwise it is domestic generic) but the crab ball appetizer is delicious. The restaurant opened in adjacent space -... Was walking down the pier and a few guys were fishing at the end. As we arrived at the end of the pier a gentleman was reeling in a fish. Just so happen that fish was a black tip shark. Was an interesting visit.

This is a well maintained pier where you can fish, people watch or enjoy the view! There are lovely clean white sandy beaches in both directions, with a restaurant at the pier and many tables where you can picnic. The pier also has benches. When the tide is high, it washes up under the structure. Inexpensive venue at $2 per... More

Great clean pier to fish off of. There is lots of room. Everyone was friendlyand you could see for miles. We were there on a clear day and could see Port Aransas!! The restaurant had fantastic food and great atmosphere. The staff was friendly and very accommodating.

This was a new experience for us. We had never fished in the gulf or ocean before or been on Padre Island at night. The pier was so long and lit up stretching our into the gulf. You pay for each person going on the pier and for each pole you bring. Price was good only $2.00 each. You could... More

pretty much the whole dock was doing catch and release. we loved it. we stopped by early morning and a fisherman just heading from his car told us dogs go on the pier all the time. We arrived with all our gear and small dog and were told at gate that "no dogs are never allowed". Kind of a damper... More
