A great place to sit and relax, have a drink. Love the live music! Been here several times, I have yet to have a bad experience!

Well I went fishing while others were catching fish I on the other hand was being skunked. Finally I felt a tug and sealed it in. To my surprise I snagged sea weed and in it a seahorse. For fishing its fun on the pier beach family fun is there too. Beaches are packed down right now so driving on... More

This is a pretty beach, mainly, in my opinion, because there seems to be a bit more wildlife --and the area around it is not as commercial. But when bigger crowds of people come here, it can really get really trashy and with gross trash too. That is why I took off a star. So if you are coming in... More

This would be a great place to fish. You must pay a fee per pole and to fish but it's a nice walk out to the end and fishing would be great. Unfortunately it was cold and rainy when we were there so we didn't walk out to the end. There is a restaurant on the pier that has good... More

I love Bob Hall Pier! They have free parking and it is asphalt so no getting stuck in the sand. There are picnic tables with tops and trash cans to leave your leftover trash in before leaving. The beach is raked daily(usually) as long as the seasonal seaweed isn't washing in. I usually find whole sand dollars washed up on... More

Nice long pier, good for fishing. There is a fee to go out onto the pier but the beach below is free. There is an undertow so be aware in you go into the water near the pier. There are picnic tables on the beach, restrooms and plenty of parking. Enjoy

The surf break is one of the best around. It's also fun to park at the pier and run north to the Packery jetty. I wouldn't recommend running very far south of the pier because it's more desolate and there is some nude beach activity and who knows what else. Best to avoid that area. Stick near the pier and... I've been here hundreds of times. I've seen anglers pull up everything from 15in horse mullet to 9ft sharks they hauled to the shore to land. I've seen redfish schools come through and bend or break every rod on the pier and dolphins play under the pylons, stealing bait fish. Cownose rays, sand trout, and ladyfish are pretty dependable and... More
