Nice pier, you can buy bait and even rent fishing gear. We fished from the pier, but, alas, no luck :) The beach is nice, but crowded on the weekends. It's a very large park with the pier, a restaurant(we did not try it) and a long stretch of beach.

Ridiculous charge to just walk it - and really just jam packed with fishermen not very scenic! Wouldn't pay to walk it again!

The pier is open 24 hours for fishing and some of the best is found at night. I love to fish from the pier at night and avoid the heat and the sun during the worst of the summer. Don't forget to bring your bait and a comfortable chair. A great place for people watching and enjoying the view. If... More

We came to Bob Halls Pier after a friend had told us about it, it's not pricey and there is plenty of room for chairs and everyone to spread out. Our family enjoyed catching a variety of Gulf Of Mexico species. They have clean restrooms and also places you can shower off at for a $0.25.

The pier is long and gives you fishing out into the gulf. Has some limited food, etc. The $6.00 per person seems a little steep. We found other piers , not as long and on the Intercoastal for $2.00

We went to the beach on a windy day which helps some with the jelly fish but makes the seaweed worse. There is no comparison to the beaches of Florida, especially when it comes to grooming the beach. Texas allows vehicular traffic, camping and cooking on their beaches promoting areas of trash. Bob Hall pier area wasn't grossly trashy but... More

I spent my summers growing up on Padre Island and many nights on the pier. You never know what you will see here, but a lot of dedicated fisherman are always here! Never a dull moment on this pier, check it out in the evening!

Spent the Memorial week-end in Corpus and fished Bob Hall Pier. It get's pretty crowded during week-ends with "first timers" but still fish-able ;) I enjoy night fishing on the Pier or Early starts ( 3 - 4 am) Past week-end a 95 inch Tiger shark was caught from the pier, tagged and released. We caught some whiting, Redfish and... More

It was a pier... Good views, nice walk out ~ Cool to watch what the people fishing were reeling in ~ $2 per person to walk out on the pier and your ticket is good for the entire day so you can leave and come back later if you want ~ Cheap entertainment to enjoy a stroll ~ I would... More
